Should I flush for 3-7 days? (Indoor, soil)

after all the reading I’ve done on not to flush, definitely flush 1-2 weeks or flush for only a few days to maybe a week. I am confused on what to do now and my crop looks great and I just don’t want to ruin a beautiful plant and also all my hard work I put into them. Can any of you guys help me out please? This is only my third crop I’ve grown but I am getting better and better every time I grow but the flushing always got me nervous and wasn’t sure if I was flushing properly. Any tips would help, thanks guys!

I used to do the straight flush at 10-14 days making sure to have a ton of run off, when I switched to organic fertilizers I stopped the flushing but I reduce my feed at 14 days and my last 3 waterings are always just water, a 5.5ph watering a 6.3ph and a 7.0ph, not a flush though just a normal watering.

FYI that first pic looks like it has 2-3 weeks left

Took these pictures a week ago, the pistols are still mostly white and trichomes are mostly clear still. Getting closer everyday

Just what I was thinking. Much too early to be thinking about harvest/flush. Let them swell and ripen for a few more weeks.
Ok cool! Thank you so much! I was nervous to ask because I wasn’t sure if guys would just laugh at me but I am learning everyday

Looks like you’re doing well so far. As they get old, some leaves will yellow and die. Make sure to cut these out of the colas. I think a lot of us, and certainly speaking for myself, are prone to chop early, especially in our first harvest. It’s worth waiting though - better flavor, denser nugs. Good luck. Getting the dry and cure is also really essential to a great final product. Lots of info here.

Can I continue using big bud or should I just use overdrive? Since they only have a couple of weeks left maybe overdrive will be better to use?

I don’t use any of that stuff. At this point I’d be prone to using straight water, but just to runoff. Maybe someone who uses liquid nutes will have a different and more informed opinion.

Thanks man I really appreciate everything! This is almost the end of week 7. Those other pictures was around week 5 almost 6. My sugar leaves are turning a little yellow as well

Looking good. Keep her going. When the leaves are close to dead, cut them out. The bud is taking what it needs from the leaf.

Those poor plants are starving. They are covered in white stigma which means they are still actively trying to grow new bud for you. They are turning colors because they are starving.

At this stage still covered in white stigma those plants should have 4+ weeks left still. With the condition they are in you are gonna be lucky if they even get close to ripe.

I'm not saying they are garbage or won't be smokable. Just that they are not going to reach their full potential.

Once you get to your last few weeks there should be a bit of nutrients built up in the soil. As long as your not seeing and deficiency I tend to go 1/2 strength mix around week7-8 1/4 week 8-9 and just water(maybe 1tbls molasses)the last week-10days. The only reason you flush is because you either over fed or messed up your ph. I was taught to flush from my grow mentor first thing I learned to change from the expert advice here on RIU
