ok so here it is.. harvested off it four times and she just kept throwing out flowers..well i have to change my pots and i also wanted to plant directly into existing pot w/berry ryder. this pot was getting down sized from one cubic foot to a three gallon pot.. well that finally did it after trimming the root ball down to fit the new pot she stopped throwing off flowers.. i already have the other seed breaking threw the ground so i'm not going to see if she recovers.. she is just getting chopped... plus i think she already did a good job in this little experiment..

OH YA !!! if you do any thing beside plant auto's directly into final pot blah blah blah autos only do this.. auto's can't do that.. i don't want to hear anything about the limitations of auto's from anyone who hasn't grown auto's in the past yr (although i'd like to say 6mo.) take all your bullshit information you have been perpetuating since the original lowryder and GO HOME

Any pics man? We're the buds you were pulling fully ready? I love autos, my Skunk Mass is growing like crazy!

I'm growing a BR myself right now, just about 2 weeks in and this has me interested. When did you take the first harvest ? How much did you take each time? Where did you harvest from, I'm assuming not the main Cola ?

i should have taken better pics but it wasn't something i planned it just happened. the 1st harvest was at 60days cuz i needed some bud (when you say fully ready.. they were frosty and had about 1/2 - 3/4 cloudy trichs but they were no where near done throwing off flowers) i chopped the main cola and lowered my light.. at 10wks i chopped all the highest tops and lowered my light again (i needed to lower my light for some seedlings i had planted) i hit the next set of tops a week later.. i wanted to get the light lower and also wanted to plant in the same container with a no till reuse soil (although i was so used to setting my temp gauge on the top of that container i forgot and put the fucking thing right down on my new seedling) then like i said i shaved the root ball from a cubic foot down to a 3gal fabric pot.. that's when it stopped throwing off flowers.. i didn't want to wait to see if it recovers there was no way i was gunna put the temp gauge on another seedling cuz i would have freaked the fuck out and smashed every fucking thing in my grow closet.. so better to chop it..here is a pic of the two bud i pulled off where the first single leaf forms.. i even got a little bud the popped out from those first two little round leaves

Nice Berry Ryder BG +1 I did 1 also and chopped it at the end of may, I let it go 2 weeks longer than the specs said and I let it sit in the dark for 3 days which just added another layer of trics. It smelt like Captain Crunch Cereal like with those Blue Berry notes, mine gave me a little over 6 Ounces :) Under a 1,000 Watt HPS In a 5X5 Tent with Fox Farm Ocean Soil and the whole Fox Farm Nutrient Line. They are tuff little ladies! and would love to do them again. Currently have Super Cheese Auto and Auto Pounder going Both are 9 days from 8 weeks of growing, flowers are really starting to fatten up so I shall see if it can "Yield Up To A Kilo Of Bud" such as Attitude Seed Co.'s Description of it read and my condition are pretty much optimal...had em under a sun master cool blue MH for 6 weeks and under a Hortilux Eye Super HPS for 2 weeks now also have a t5 4ft bloom tube from HTGardensupply.com an extra 10,000 lumens. Sorry for hijacking your thread! just wanted to say Berry Ryder kick ass! as far as wieght is concerned.

How did your Berry Ryders smoke? I have two growing that are just over two weeks old right now. Excite!

I have a blue mystic from nirvana doing that. Honestly I should throw the damn thing out, but it keeps making flowers. About once a week it has two buds with mad crystals on it. I noticed if I didn't cut the bud completely off the stem and left an unmutilated fan and some plant material it would grow back.

It's the only one of three that did it though. kinda nice cause it's been giving some smoke while I wait for other shit grow and dry, but it's ugly and on deaths doorstep. kinda feel bad chopping it, it's really trying to survive.

maybe the others would have done it if I noticed sooner.

did you damage the stem at all?

I read some article somewhere in my travels that said if you score the outer stem the plant will stop sending nutes to down to the roots and only take nutes up to the plant from the soil. Maybe it's bullshit, but I tried it. I cut into the stem gently on two sides. the flowering nodes, the ones that keep growing back, have a big ugly green knot where the flowers grow out. seems to have something to do with it.

I did it after harvesting the main cola, figured it couldn't hurt to try and boost the lower buds.

or maybe it's just random. I'm still learning and trying shit.

The smoke was ok... lacking in potency but the bouquet of aromas was super lemony and captain crunch berry smelling. It had a big stature and lots of weight and a tuff mofo at that. Most commercial growers or a lot anyways grow their product and skip flushing the ferts that have built up in your flowers so then you get buds that crackle, hiss or don't burn right because they weren't properly cured because the guy growing the little ladies has $$ in his eyes and not the health and well being of others....not saying anyone here or people out there don't properly flush and cure but I have seen my fair share of "Wannabe Buds", the Berry Ryyder was smooth and thick just how you like it but as mentioned above it lacked potency :/ bongsmilie

P.S. The BR is the short lady in front with the huge central cola the thickness of a mans arm, surrounded by White Rhinos keeping her safe :)
