Here is a view of my garden, I am standing on top on a 6ft ladder and holding the camera as high as my arms could reach. They average anywhere from 5 - 7 feet when this pic was taken last week. This patch is Silver Haze. I decided to use 5 gallon grow bags for the main patches well see how it turns out. bongsmilie

Ill get a better angle, I have a pic with the 6 ft ladder hidding in the plants. The moss was from before I removed the brush. There is another thread showing the progress of that area. I get full sun all day at that spot. They have been out there since the middle of July. There use to be a green house.made.outs plastic.and green wire, it was sunk into the ground about 3ft if that sounds familiar to anyone. Anyway ill grab a few more pics Sunday

Here is the pic with the 6ft ladder. It is the one I was standing on to take the other pic. bongsmilie.

They are thin lol bongsmilie, I topped some a few weeks ago just mostly for shit and giggles. For the most part they are just a single stock. I have two over in that patch that bigger. one is 4-5 feet wide depending on where you measure it and about 7 feet tall, the other is about 4 -5 feet around and about 5 feet tall.

The two big ones are vortex and where 18 inch tall colones in 3 gallon pots when the others just started to sprout so they are the big monsters of that patch.

Ladder is in the back and those are 5 gallon grow bags so you can guess for size...

nice. outdoor haze = never going to finish up north. but who cares, its still outdoor haze! +rep

Projected harvest is Nov 10th give or take.... Ill have to hold out as long as the weather dose. I think if I have to pull early it would be with in a week or two of the projected harvest date. I have some vortex and ak47 to harvest early so I am kinda glad I got a staggered harvest. But as you say haze up north........ its kinda like buying a lotto ticket, I may lose but if I win I win big!:blsmoke:

after months of hard work y would u pull early, i find it hard to beleive that so many ppl pull bc of a frost, i live in a northern climate too and im determined to finish no matter how long it takes, so u wanna no what i did, google, "how to protect plants from frost", that simple, it even said hardier plants(ie. marijuana)can pull through a frost, but it doesnt hurt to take preventive measures, i posted a thread w/ the link to help fellow outdoor growers worried about frost, appearently no 1 cared so im done trying to help, ill let evey1 smoke there premature weed, ur the last 1 im telling this to

yea im a little bitter, i also havent smoked in 3 months due to legal issues, hopefully those will be settleld by harvest, but i just get mad when i put a thread up to help outdoor growers considering its a big worry among outdoor growers. i always see here at least once a day" are my plants gonna finish in time" so i do some research put a thread up to help the community out, and yet hardly ne1 looked into it, so yea im a little bitter, I mean i still hear the same shit all the time, and its like, I PUT A F***ING THREAD UP FOR THIS!!!

....... If I pulled early it would not be for frost. I have more than enough time to finish flowering before 1st frost. If I pulled early it would be because the weather has become a perfect breading ground for mold and mildew.... ewww I don't want that in my buds.

your reasons just make no sense to me. I'd take preventive steps for mold and mildew.

In the effort to clarify things and keep retarded post off my thread...... here we go bongsmilie

Great..... I dont know why you thought I was going to care if my reasons made sense to you. I don't know why you and other people are ASSUMING I am pulling early.

I made the comment about pulling early because of a few reasons lets look at these reason a little more closely. bongsmilie Some pepole are haveing a hard time following along.bongsmilie

First: Preventive measure will be taken, just as they have been every year since I started.

Second: If measures fail and weather begins to take a drastic turn for the worst, ...... say 3 feet of snow overnight. ( It can and will happen ), I would have no moaral objections to ending a 12 week flower cycle 10-14 days early. ( I would pull as close to the storm as I could )

Third: If I start to get mold and or mildew in my buds after preventive measure have been taken, I would be more than happy to chop early to avoid spreading to other buds.

Yellow: I acually smoke my buds and don't sell them :-o So for me honestly if I had the choice between moldy bud or fresh cure nugs.... I am going to get the nugs even if they are slightly less in quantity and quality :bigjoint:
