Finally My First Grow

Ahh man I check the ph constantly. And I mean alot..lol
Right now she is pretty steady at 5.8
And I absolutely agree with the lower ppm at least for my grow seems to be MUCH better.
So from now on I am keeping my ppm down.
I guess it's a trial and error with nutrient amounts.
But my plants definitely like lower ppms.

Okay guys another question.
Like I stated before my auto flower has buds forming.
First question they have been forming for 2 weeks but I have yet to see any tricomes. Is this normal. Should I be concerned
2nd ?
My other plants are not forming any buds at all. They seem to just be growing like they where on 18/6. They where hurting a week back and have since recovered . Just wondering if their is a issue with them.
Ph is at a steady 5.8
PPM is 350
I am using distilled water
I have dropped all my nutes to 1/10 the recommened dosage
Water is between 68 to 72 at highest.
I also have added .5 ml of cal mag per gallon in.My system.
Besides not flowering they seem.to be happy and healthy.
Thanks ahead for your advice
And thank u

I do in fact have ligt leaking thru.
Very very suttle and no light directly on plants. I will have to take care of that tonight .
What about no signs of crystals forming on my auto flower.?

Yea fix that light leak asap.

The trichomes on the auto will take a little time. I don't think I've had many that had trichomes two weeks into flower. It'll come, just have patience. It sucks trying to have patience but is a necessity for growers. Something I had to teach myself to have throughout the years

Yah. I agree.
When I first started this grow I had all the dates I was planning for this and that.
But now it's no rush at all . The plant will do what she will do when she those it.
This is all about learning the basics. I am sure with each grow I'll get better and better.
Thanks guys you guys are awesome help.....

So as soon as Mr goodtimes recommended sealing my light leaks I did. My lab is completely dark. I thought the little leak I had was no big deal but I see know just a tiny leak lets allot of light in.
Just 2 days after pitch black my buds started forming. YES.....
I believe everything is basically on auto pilot.
My ph is stable at around 5.8
Ppm was started at 550.
They are drinking a ton of water . Ide say atleast a gallon a day between the 6 plants.
And the auto flower is starting to really show a good amount of thricomes.
So long story short they are happy and growing like crazy.
So they vegged for a total of 7 weeks and at the end of the week I will start counting down on the bud side.
Thanks guys

Here are a few pictures I took a day or so ago.
The buds that are later in their progression are from my 1 auto I have.....Grand Theft Auto!
and the other is from my other plant THC Bomb.
But my Incredible Bulk and strawberry blue are also showing signs of budding........
I have set up a scrog. And I have been laying what ever growth that has been coming thru back under. Now at what point do I stop laying the growth back under the scrog.

Plants are doing extremely weli believe.
My question is I had to lower my levels from the recommended dosage per gallon to like 1 10th the strenght.
For example if they recommended 10ml per gallon i only used 1ml and if said 5ml per gallon i would use a half a ml.
Each kit includes ONE bottle each of:
16 oz Grow
16 oz Bloom
16 oz Infinity
8 oz Grow-N
8 oz Amino Aide
8 oz Big Swell
8oz Peak
Here is list of the nutrients i am using.
I have a little more room on the ppm side as when i finish with nutrients my ppm is around 500 to 545. I believe i can bump that up to maybe 600 to 700.
So i was wondering in the 3rd week of flower what out of the nutrients listed above would you add more to help with flowering.
I hope this makes sense what I am saying.. Lol
Thanks
Plant in pic is my Grand Heft Auto she is about 3 to 4 weeks in flowers.
My other plants that are 2 weeks in flower that i am referring to for my question

Allright so I need a little help determining whether my autoflower is ready or not. Unfortunately I do not have a 30x jewelers maganafier. The plant was about 2 inches tall on the 8th of april. I started counting from there. She had sprouted a week earlier. I am at 12 weeks total as of tommorow. I have included pictures. Most of all the white hairs have turned orange. Very little if any growth and the leaves are started to change colors and show signs of browning. I know the best way would be to look at trichomes but trying to do the determination with other clues . Let me know if you guys can tell from pics. Please let me know if the pics are good enough. If I had to take a guess I would say the trichomes are milky...
Thanks again
Ooooh and the supplier put this down as a 12 week seed to harvest plant

I would let it go a minimum of one more week, maybe two. She is looking nice and very close to harvest. The pics are very clear. From what I'm seeing, is a lot of cloudy, but not much amber. There is still a bunch of white pistils, a sign that its still growing. I like to see close to 75% red pistils and 60% amber trichs. Something close to that and they are ready.
