Finding meds

Hello all,

I was wondering if someone here can help. I just received my card and am finding out that getting it was the easy part. I figured that I would go to the nearest dispensary and talk to someone there, get some recommendations on what would be best for my ailments and be on my merry way. NOT!! They say that I would be put on a waiting list and it would be around 8 weeks!!!! That was the one in Biddeford, the one in Portland won't be opened until spring! So, I have a card, I have TONS of pain et-al but no access to medicine! Life truly sucks. Does anyone have any idea on where I can get any medicine and talk to someone that knows what works for what, that's somewhat close to Wells, is medical grade, legal, not located in a war-zone or back ally, isn't catering to the Donald Trump's of the world (low on denaro) and is in a safe, clean environment? I hope I didn't offend anyone, this is all new to me and am kind of skiddish.

Any and all help would be appreciated.

You need to find yourself a decent caregiver. I'm not thinking that the dispensaries are gonna be able to handle the load of patients that are knocking on their doors. There are quite a few caregivers around with excellent meds.

BTW, are there any meetings or get-togethers in or around the southern Maine area(between Portsmouth and Portland)? I think something like that would be a great place to have discussions and get info for newbs like me. I'm finding out that there's a LOT to learn and I think that I stuck my foot in my mouth a few times. I guess, at least for me, that's theres a big learning curve. As said, I don't know much about all this, but I'd be willing to help in any way I can.

WOW!! Looks like some people haven't emptied there PM's lately. tet1955, I tried to send you a PM, but you and some others gave me this message:"
