uh stem bends and snaps? it should simply snap.

and man why do people say 'harvest this then if you want more of this high . . ' when you're talking about a heavy indica strain, it will suck ass if you don't let it go till it's way way done. otherwise you wont get high as long and it wont be nearly as satisfiying . . .

so I don't get the point of that peak harvest window. I think it's foolish to judge a high simply on THC, as THC is only one part of the high which is a synergistic reaction between cannabinoids..

so people stop harvesting heavy indicas earlier trying to get a more heady high, it wont work. just buy a fuckin sativa and let it finish too.

the stems should snap before the cure, but they shouldn't break in half when bent, also if you prefer your nugs a little more "gooey" you can jar when they simply bend, just make sure that the outer bud is crispy to touch and to cut them into little nugs(fdd does this).
I don't believe to harvest earlier for a "different type" high, i say let all plants finish until they are fully ripe, although peak potency is simply based on highest THC levels and on most Indica's have a smaller window of around 5-9 days and Sativa's 7-14 days. The window opens when the bud appears "ripe"(more of a milky/amber frosty appearance, calyxes swell to PEAK, pistils change from original color to brown/orange/red and begin to recede into the calyxes, the fragrance is norm. more pungent and hashy/skunky/dank, also the buds should be hard to the "squeeze" and most plants vegetation dies off as peak potency is reached and/or has passed). There is a noticeable difference when bud is harvested with the majority of trichomes amber as opposed to clear or milky/opaque, when a trichome turns amber, it is believed that that specific trichome has passed its peak potency and WILL provide a more CBD/narcotic type high. Hope this clears it up for you.
I am in agreement with you that the high will not be nearly as long or satisfying if the plant isn't "properly matured".

They arent really stinky :/ idk why. smell more grassy than anything :/ dont know why i mean i trimmed all green leaves that didnt have trichomes. Maybe because my buds are airy?

very frosty and dank, im using the same jars. i like using the pasta sauce and jelly and pickle jars, etc. i think they work just as well without having to spend ten bucks on a jar when you can use the one's you paid for that your food came in, like recycling. :peace:

10 weeks into flowering. clones planted in early may. I had a branch break 3 weeks ago and its the stickiest dank I have had in years.
NYC is commonly 60/40, sativa dominant hybrid. Does it smell grapefruity-ish? You should wait 7-10 days to see if they continue swelling. :joint:

I been looking for info on the plant. But info i found was mostly indoor traits like it grows 65cm tall (3feet) when mine is well over 7 feet.
