fire hazard ?

I have a 25 gallon Rubbermaid tote im using
i have no top and in the shed i found big piece of styrofoam that would work for a top i would rinse it off of course but would it be a fire haxard all i am using is a 105 watt cfl (420 equivalent ) and i got a xbox 360 fan for exhaust. Let me know

Yall think it would work as a good top its white so well reflect but i do not have anything in tote and its blue

If it fits the tote then it will work fine as a top for it. And yeah, like you said, its white so it'll reflect some light, so its more ideal of a color than blue. Is it bigger than the actual opening of the tote, so it overlaps some? or is it smaller than the opening so it fits inside? Either way it should work...how thick is it? It could break if you set something heavy down on top of it, but your weight limit on items that you set on top of it will be determined by the thickness of the styrofoam.

It was way bigger i cut it just now its now 2 inch bigger than tote gonna leave it that way its prolly a inch thick im gonna wrap it in mylar after i cut out fan and light spots
