Well, the AT600 arrived today!!! And what a monster it is! It's big and heavy. I underestimated it's size and weight. Here are some pics. And keep in mind, these pics were taken while it was sitting on a king-sized bed:

I can't hang it yet in my grow closet, because I still have a crop flowering in there. It's a Jack Herer strain from Sannie's Shop that has been flowering for 11.5 weeks. The flowering time is 11-13 weeks, so I may have up to 10 days (probably just 5) before I can hang my new AT600. The buds are showing a few amber trichomes, but I like to see 20% amber trichomes before I harvest.

I can't just dismount the current HPS light they're flowering under, because it's one of those huge and heavy Luxor vertical-bulb hoods. And the crop under it is a SCROG grow under a screen. So I can't simply move the plants outside to change lights in the grow room. But this is fine. Apache Tech recommends (I believe) that seedlings be somewhat advanced in growth before placing them under the AT600.

So, my plants will stay under T5 lighting until my current crop is harvested. Again, this will be a max of 10 days; more than likely about 5 days. But I do apologize for the delay in seeing my new AT600 in action. It will come, in a few days.

And I can't hardly wait.

Awesome man. Built like a tank aren't they. Can't wait to see yours in action. You're packing the light in there...led and hps. Rock on.
I can see the lens configurations...50's in the center and 14's on the outside...money!

Are they doing the lense layout stock like that (g?) or did you request that white? What was the center intensity/mid spread stacked up to against all 14s? Assuming with basically x4 200s you can REALLY see the differences...

and respect for growing some Sannie's seeds his strains are so overlooked and always produce quality no matter what

Before I bought, I talked with the Apache Tech rep on the phone a couple times, and he asked what my main goal was: medical (i.e. high yield/potency), or other. I said medical, and he said that I should go with their newest configuration with White and Red LEDs. He said that their most recent tests with it out-produced any of their other spectrums. I remember reading something about that on their web site as well.

I felt like I should trust their recommendation.

I was shocked at the size and weight when I first saw the AT600. 70+ lbs.

I've grown 2 of Sannie's strains now: Herijuana and Jack Herer.

The Herijuana lived up to its billing: low yielder, harsh smoke, but a knockout punch. A good night-time smoke if you aren't looking for good taste.

The Jack Herer is a HUGE yielder, especially when SCROG'ed. But she is a long-flowering plant. 11-13 weeks. I've heard so many great things about this strain, I can't wait to try it when it's been properly dried and cured.

How is that luxor reflector I was going to buy some of those before I decided to go led.

Those things are very heavy. I put a huge reflector up over a well developed SCROG. Here's how I did it. I placed a saw horse on either side of my tent, then laid 2x4s across them, spanning the grow area. I then placed the hood on the 2x4s and slid it to the middle. Then I hoisted the hood up with rope ratchets. I would put something under the AT600 so you don't scratch up the lenses.
