I'm using Envirolites the super big CFL's. I have 375 watts in total, I'm using the 250 watt red spectrum as the main light in the shade then I have a 125 watt red spectrum hanging down as side lighting.

I have had some really good results using CFL's, people always seem to diss them but they do work well, if your smart with them.

The pictures are of an AK47

from my reseach ill have 16,000 lumens with those full spectrum, maybe add a 42w 6500k?
I'm not trying to go to like 4 ft got some medium size strains so should be fine with just 2 babys at first
what do you mean about the soil?
thanks
What's up bud, I dont check this daily ( I wish I could!) Plants use blue and red spectrum. The rest of the colors really don't mean shit when I comes to plants. Full spectrum have all the colors. Your red's, blue's, yellow's and so on. Your running a lot of Red spectrum lighting. It's not a bad thing, the plants will grow fine that way. But if you have a Sativa it will take up more room then a Indica if you allow to grow all the way. With that said if your grow area isn't so large you should use more blue spectrum. Blue's penetrate the plant easier and so the plant wont have to stretch in height to get the light that's needed to grow. More red spectrum the plant will stretch in height. The more lighting the better when it come's to CFL's. So if you can put in 2, 6500K and keep the heat controlled it will help you buds grow tighter and bigger.

**** Remember when you start the budding, your plant will double in size! Keep that in mind so you dont run out of room.
