First AutoFlower Grow - Questions

My first AutoFlower grow:

Afghan Low Ryder Kush
Currently in Roots Organic soil (will soon transfer to Subcool's Super Soil)
About 18 days since first sprout
Have been under T5 "grow" bulbs for 24 hours per day

Do I put them under MH bulbs now, or do I go straight to HPS?

I assume I should cut down to 18 hours per day of light when I go to HID lighting. Is this true?

MH is best for veg stage, they could go to either MH or HPS, thats up to you, you can cut down to 18 and 6 but in the begining i use 20 and 4 for my autos, only about the last 3 weeks i cut it down to 18 and 6

those are my last autoflowers that i had, it was fastbud and easyryde (ak47 x lowryder)...i used 20 and 4 up until the last 2 or 3 weeks and then swithced them to 18 and 6, i think thats why i got such a solid yield and they grew great, but thats just my opinion i dont really know, but honestly i have yet to see nicer autoflowers than those. good luck friend
