damn that grow is awesome in that room... ok since this is the CFL section this is where i should be... ok ive got 4 purp clones in my closet about 2 and a half weeks in the plants r about 10 inches high and the leaves r alread turnin violet!!!... i have 3 300 watt CFLs about 5 inches from the top of the plants... and i jus added 2 blue spectrum 120 watt spotgro growlights... about 2-3 feet from the top of the plants... i got 3 fans... 2 blowing in fresh air and one exhausting... ive got dynagro soil... and this blue powder miracle gro nutirents... high in nitro phosphorus and potassium... sum leaves have yellow tips and yellow spots... i think it may be nute burn from foliar feeding with that miraclegro stuff with the lights on... and i think i may be puttin too many nutrients... i used 1/4 tablespoon of the powder in 1 gallon of water... and i water the plants with that mix every other watering... any tips or anythin i should change??? or ya im gettin alot of lower growth... should i trim those new leaves?? or trim the old big leaves??? i dont know how to trim and what i am doing if i trim so someone please give me a quick tutorial thanx!!! oh ya should i get other nutes??? like for more growth or for flowering???

first off , you need to remove the plant matter from the soil. it cause decay and bugs feed on decaying plants. yellow spots and/or leaves def means nutrient burns. use atleast 1/4 of the suggested ammount and slowly incresse

They will grow fine but your side buds will not mature as fast as the top will. I do mine the same way I have 7 plants with varying ages. I try to start atleast 2 a week until we find out what they are. If its good smoke(we use bagseed) we clone the plants.

that does look like nutrient burn. does the soil you are using contain nutrients already because MG is designed to time release their nutrients which during your drying stages between watering can cause this. other than that you should buy a test kit at walmart or lows that tests nitrogen, phosphorus and potassium as well as pH.

So my plants are 3 weeks and 3 days old. I also have 3 little plants that are a week and three days old. I think im going to put my two large plants and keep one of the little ones in there for the hell of it into flowering on sunday when the large plants are 4 weeks old. My plants are almost 7 inches tall and very bushy. I have 202 real watts of CFL light in my box and keeping them still about 3 inches away.
What is everyones opinion on topping, i was thinking about doing it to one of my plants but hadnt seen a good tutorial or when to do it.

Anyway the good part. here's my hopefully ladies:

Yeah sorry my phones busted so i havent been able to take pics but heres the update

My two big girls are almost 5 weeks old and going into flowering tomorrow along with a 3 week old plant that im throwin in there just to see what happens. My two big girls are now in 3 gallon pots.

Im putting in 4 23 watt 2700k and 1 55w 2700k for flowering and trying to decide which or if i should put all my 6500k lights in.

Whats your guys opinion ive got 4 23 watt and 2 55 watt 6500k CFLs that ive been using for veggie. Should i add those to my box along with my 2700k lights for more watts during flowering? or should i stick with the 2700ks?

you didn't keep them in that sized pot did you cause flowering will render small if you do size up for better growth

Sorry for throwing around what I think because I am still noob and don't know much besides what I read:

That being said I cannot think that any additional light would be bad. From what I can gather, 6500 is what it NEEDS for veggin, 2700 is what it NEEDS for flowering, so as long as it has what it needs, anything additional is just icing on the cake.

Can someone with more knowledge confirm or deny that?
