Im growing in a 1'4" x 1'4" x 3'11 grow tent, with 2 120w 3500k lights, and a couple of seeds I got from a friend down the street.. The plants are now 13 days old.. are they looking wierd? What about my light setup? should i have different lights? would 2 125 2700K work better?..:leaf::leaf::leaf:

You should probably be using 6500K spectrum lights. 2700K is for flowering and 6500K is for veg. I'm using a mixture of both, but you want at least a 2:1 ratio, i.e. two 6500k for every one 2700k in vegetative, and vice versa in flowering There are alot of really informative posts here that can answer most of your questions. If you read up you'll learn all you need to know from everyone who's already asked these questions.

Plants are looking fine, hope you have some holes in the bottom of those cans for drainage, other than that, try to keep your lights between 2 and 4 inches from the growth tips on your plants. When they get bigger and stronger, if you want bushy growth (which most CFL growers do), keep the lights as close to the plants as you can without burning them, some people say half an inch, some people say 2 inches, generally the closer the lights the bushier the plant. The further from the lights the more your plants will stretch out to reach them.

I don't know anything, I'm just quoting what I've read on here, but I've read alot and seen a lot of people with some decently respectable grows under their belts. So far so good though, keep working on it and figure out what works best for you! Good luck and keep us posted!

Correct, you should be using a primary basis of 5000K to 6500K with some 2700 mixed in (just a little helps) but for veg you want more blue focus light.

No prob dude, thats what we do, we help each other out and never put each other down here! I'm all about good vibes and making sure everyone has a great growing experience. I love weed, I love weed culture, and I wish you the best in your grow. I just set one up myself, I'm on day 4. I have 2 clones and germed 3 seeds. I planted them and 2 broke soil, not sure if the third is gonna make it but it's still early. My clones are big so I'm gonna flower them in a couple days and I set myself up a light-tight veg box to toss the youngsters in. Keep me posted on how your grow goes and anything you wanna ask I'll try to help. This is my first indoor CFL grow, but I have enjoyed some minor success with outdoor growing. I'm growing with CFL's to kill the boredom will spring when I can plant outside.
