So i changed up my grow room alil more...i added another fan for ventilation cus it was gettin way 2 hot in there....and then i added these boards around the sides so that the mylar is really close to the plants on all sides...check out the new pics here

on top of that i have pretty much almost finished my aerocloner....i got the idea from someone else so im not trying to take full credit for it...but i did build it my own way...so here it is. tell me what yall think of everything.

next thing ima do is buy 2 (4 socket) vanity lights and wire them together to have 1 plug....then ima attach those to the board that is now laying on the top of the other 2. I also planned on mylaring that piece of wood first as well. once thats all finished ima lower that board down closer to tha plants and attach it to chains so i can raise and lower it. ill put pix up of that when im done.

but wat do yall think so far of the cloner and grow closet lol

Wow thats some setup for a cloner. I use a walmart type storage container with a locking lid, and I put perlite and water in the bottom. I put the clones in a little pot that has just peat moss in it, and I set them in the container, keep them warm, and let them work their magic. :hump:

How's your light setup coming along? Lookin good bro :blsmoke:

thx ya i cant believe how well that cloner worked out...i actually used the sprayer heads from the drippers that i use in my actual grow area... i bought this outdoor flower watering kit that ur supposed to hook up 2 u hose and then run these tubes and poke holes in the tube and add the smaller drippers which would normally have those sprayer on them....but i just took them off used them for the cloner and then used the drippers for my hydro system in my grow room...work out perfectly lol.....and then if u look at the new pics i made alil enclosure around my grow area...and theres a piece of wood on the top that ima get a couple of those vanity lights u were talking bout....i found them at home depot for 13 dollars a piece.....4 sockets each...ima attach it to that piece of wood that is laying on top right now....and cut it down to size and put chains on it so i can lower it into that enclosed space i made ima prob use that same type sheet metal that used to add some reflection to the wood....either that or ima mylar it. what do u think?... also got another fan to so now my temps are staying around 78 to 82 depending on whether i cover the door with my sheet that i use to keep light from escaping into my room and keepin me awake...lol....im wonderin if 80-85 is to hott for the plants tho? cus sometimes it can be as high as 85....but i heard 90+ is what kills plants..wat do u think?

Total camera envy, bud...those shots are crispy.

Shot 5 of that last set, she looks a little yellow and maybe some brown speckles...might be some kinda deficiency there.

If I'm remembering right, brown speckles could be Cal/Mag deficiency, and yellow is almost certainly Nitrogen deficiency at this point. So, ya, try some nutes on 'em...something with a big first number (NPK). Try half strength first, wait a couple days and go from there.

ya i gave it some nutes early this morning. i was trying to hold off on them cus i kinda wanted to wait till it got about 3 nodes or so....but i guess its more based on how old it is and now how big it actually is....im pretty sure it is a nite deff. so well se how it goes.

on a side note ya my camera is badass its a 12 megapixel. i have it on the highest quality...3 meg pics lol. but they are really detailed....dude earlier in this post was complaining about the size of them....who cares if they take like 15 seconds to load....its worth it for the quality lol. i can almost see the plants better in those pics than i can if i go look right at it with my naked eye lol.

ima post some new pics here ina lil...check back l8er. and im still wondering

IS 80-85 degrees to hot? iv heard that 90+ kills ur plants but my room temps seem to always be around 75-85 depending on whether the door is closed all the way or not.

Our favorite plant thrives best at 65-75, survives and does just fine 75-80, 80+ it's feeling the heat. Your plants will tell you if they're too hot...wilting, drooping, looking unhealthy but not from malnutrition. Trust your eyes.

ighty cool ima try to keep it below 80 if possible but sometimes its hard 2 cus i need to close the sheet or the door alil when i goto bed so i can actually sleep. lol but it usuallly doesnt go to much ovr 80 newayz. thx man

They look plenty fine now, so I wouldn't sweat your temps too hard. There are tropical genetics that like temps up into the low 90s, so just pay attention and listen to your plant.

If you just need to knock a few degrees off for a few hours you could fill some 2 liters with water and freeze them and put them in the grow area while the doors are closed :p It won't drastically reduce the temp but you can get a good 5-10 deg change with them. (osc fan to circulate the cold air coming off them)

:)

If you have the $$ you could always lower the rooms heat via dry ice during extreme heated times. thus cooling your room and giving them co2 :p But this is probably not cost effective :p
