First Clone Attempt. We Have Roots!

ok, so im finally making the jump to cloning instead of messing with seeds and feminizing plants and all that bullshit. i went with Stinkbud's design but i only made it hold 4 plants...can always add more holes if i need them.

the two plants in the back were my first run at it, since i wasnt sure if it was gona work i took the shittiest 2 branches off the plant i wanted to clone. the two in front are a little better but i still cut a couple of shittier ones cuz i decided to split the bottom of the stems...ive heard it makes better or faster roots...i forget which.

the two plants with roots are on their 15th day, roots started poking out on both of them on day 12. the two without roots have only been in there for 2 days.

im using straight tap water ph'd to 6.0 and the clones are coming from a bag seed plant that i have (bomb ass mids)

it was only wet cuz the sprayers turned on a couple times when i had the plants out to take the pictures. when everything is in its place its sealed up nice and tight. but thanks for the advice :joint:

Mine leaked and I found out the hard way plants can't swim.. :) Glad to hear yours is just from the picture taking.

If you want to help speed up the process, get a warming mat put it under your tub and leave the sprayers on constant. Thats what I do and I see roots in usually 7-10 days. Good Job!

i was thinkin about ways to speed it up today. a heat mat crossed my mind, im also gona pick up some Clonex and see if that helps. thanks. bongsmilie

lol. yeah i let it run for a few days without the plants in it...i had a few leaks when i started but i got it all under control now. :blsmoke:

i planted the mother seed 188 days ago according to the countdown timer on my phone. once i get a few good clones from her im thinkin of planting her outside. i harvested it and it was really good smoke, it came from some bag seed that smelled and tasted like strawberry jelly (so i call it strawberry jelly lol). the buds looked and smelled so nice and i only had 1 seed so i decided to regenerat it..which is very fun to do, if you havent regen'd a plant before you should try it.

oh my cats have gotten the best of a few of my plants before, but i got em trained now. they all get just close enough to not get in trouble lol.

My cat looks at my deviously as he sneaks into the grow room. If I am not in there right behind him the clones are history.. I am sure if I left him long enough he would tear it all down. He goes nuts for it.
