day 42/22. Plants look great, the aero plants are super fat and crystal covered, and the DWC plants are covered in buds at this point. The vegging plants look great and the only thing not perfect is the clones i cut almost a week ago; ive lost only a couple, but no signs of rooting yet. Soon! As long as they are ready in 8 days we are good to go :).

Day 43/23. Moved the dwc plants around to offer better light coverage. Their roots in bags seem to be doing well. The vegging plants look happy and are fattenig up their stems. Can't wait for harvest :) one week!

Day 44/24. So soon... The largest of the flowering plants is really fattening up in these last few days, the buds that were little christmas trees in shape are becoming rounder and fatter every day, and you can see the asparagus like growth of the flowers on flowers . Also, even though they are on flush i am seeing very little leaf yellowing... some drooping amongst the bottom leaves but i expected a more substantial change considering they have been on regular water for a week.
The DWC plants are frosting over with trichs, on time per the schedual.
I WANT TO HARVEST. The last of the fucking variables is how much i actually get out of this project. Anything over 150g will make me happy. I have 10 colas in there, and i'm expecting at least a half ounce from the smallest of them, so i think i'll be between 150-300g, probably arround 200 or so. Difficult to judge; the tiny little plants i had before gave me about 7 grams, and certainly my plants are all at least 5 times as big as the last ones. We shall see, but i would estimate my yeild as being satisfactory.

day 45/25 and many upheavals have occurred.
First, i harvested the three tallest plants. They are so much closer to the light as to be much farther along then the other medium height plants. they have been monopolizing the light too, preventing the shorter plants from developing as well. All in all, taking them out at their early ripeness hasn't hurt and it will allow the others more light to mature under for the last few days. My final wet weights for the three plants was 180g, 75/45/60. Pics of them and the harvest should be in thread.
Second, i have moved several of the DWC plants to the aero system ahead of the others. For some reason, after a recent res change three of my dwc plant started to droop dramatically. I have yet to figure out why, but since the aero system is currently on flush and there is room i moved them up for a bit of a recovery period. They are some of the shorter plants too, so they will have some time under the HPS to catch up if they recover succesfully.

Also, i have roots on my peat pellet clones, maybe 50% at this point, the others will come, i don't expect to lose more then one or two of them. SOIL CLONING IS TOO EASY. 8 days. lol.

So 180g wet... dry weight will be important. I estimate based on the current plant yeild that there is perhaps another 180-200 g still growing. So if i ended up with 350-400 wet, what will i get dry? We shall see.

day 46/26. The wilting plants are finally recovering, the aero plants are fattening up and the clones look good. The weed is in it's drying box, and i can't wait for more harvest pictures. Will take lots today with natural light.

day 47/27, and the final plants have been harvested. Total wet weight from this round; 290g. There was 110g left on the remaining plants. The previously harvested plants are already down to about 60g from 180, so i expect the old 25% dry weight, so between 75-100g. The new plants have been moved up into the aero chamber, the vegging plants are now on flower and new clones in hydroton for the vegging side!

The system is now perpetual :P

day 29/2 for the plants this round. The weed is curing and im very happy with it. I have some new seeds from a buddy im germinating, and i'm designing another closet in Heaths verticle stadium grow style. Things are good :)

day 35/8. Cut down my soil plant today, turns out this strain is just ludicrously fast flowering, 55 days or so. The aero plants are looking good, the ones that took some stress from the lights burning them have definitely budded slower. They look great though. 22 days till chop, so this round will end up 57 days old or so. The extra time will help them catch up since they were on cfl for the first half of flowering.

day 37/10. All the plants look good today. The aero plants are happily fattening up their buds. I'm seeing a real difference between plants that suffered stress at the beginning of the cycle and those that didn't. The one plant that got seriously light burned and the three that i think suffered from some sort of infection at the swap over are producing much slower then the ones that have been perfectly healthy all along. So i think the key will be keeping the plants in the dwc as happy and prepped as possible for their swap over to the final flower stage.
I suppercropped the dwc flowering plants the other day, since they were getting pretty tall. Hopefully this will encourage short internode growth and a fat main cola. I've been looking at the whole system though, and thinking about the final heigts, im thinking i might want to raise the shelf that the aero res is on. This would allow more space between the plants and the CFL's in the lower chamber, which really burn the hell out of the plants if they get too big. The problem i think is that since they are CFL's, raising them will jut encourage the plants to grow even taller and skinnier, not just grow the same and stay safe.
I have discovered that in soil cloning, rooting hormone makes a huge difference. Without it, my clones will take up to 20 days to root, whereas with it, 6-7 days tops, and they grow way more vigorously too, with way more roots breaking the pellet at the same time.
I planted a new coke bottle plant that i had previously started. It was topped early in it's life, so it should produce two nice little colas. I'ts in the flowering closet now mostly because i have extra space i'm not efficently using in the flowering chamber.
That's about it really. All is well. Seeds are on the way. No Trainwreck sprouts yet, but my buddy did tell me the seeds he threw me were old, so maybe they are just taking their time. We shall see. I don't really care that much. One way or the other, ill have a new strain to play with soon.

well im cloning in jiffy pellets now. So i cut a clone, root it in the jiffy pellet under a jiffy humidity dome under T5 fluros. Then I take that pellet with roots coming out and i plant it in a netpot filled surrounded by hydroton and i put it into a dwc system. So while the cloning is done in pure soil the clones grow in hydro. They get about 6-8 inches tall in the 30 days of veg in the first dwc system, then they hit about 12-14 inches during the first 30 days of flower in the second system and finally hit up to 20 inches in the top chamber in the aero system.
day 42/15 also. The plants look great, im upping their nutes to find the upper limit. The supercroped plants seem to be responding perfectly, producing many closely spaced flowering nodes above the stem damage.
I FINALLY GOT MY SEEDS WOOT!! so they are now germinating under some paper towel. 30 days of growing, 7-10 days to clone and then 10-14 days to sex. If i get a couple females then id prbly have enough clones to do a run of kish 3 runs, 76 days from now. Then those clones would be in the system 90 days before they actually produce. so minimum 150 days for kish from now sigh :( but still it's coming :).

Day 43/16. Adjusted the shelf today so that the bottom chamber have 5-6 more inches. This will maximize usage of the space, since the plants will be able to get bigger in the bottom and i wont be wasting so much open space above the aero plants. They ll look good apart from that. No sprouts on the seeds yet.

Day 44/17. The plants all look very happy with the new setup. The aero plants are fattening up and looking good. In the next run with plants that experience no stress i think my yield will be significantly increased. The kish seeds are starting to pop, and i need to grab some soil and pots for them to be planted in. Im going to train the main stem to grow horizontaly across a pot, and im going to top it to get four main branches that will then be trained in a cross to the edges of the pot. Cloneable branches then grow strait up off these main branches. I have an up and coming mother trained in this way, and it is clearly very effective in producing many straight stemmed clones.
Im going to keep looking at the plants, but essentially i could harvest any time depending on how ripe i want them. This is sweet; it means im allready pretty much on a 50 day cycle for flowering I could prlby get away with only 25 days in each chamber and 75 day old plants. We shall see.

Day 45/18. 12 days to go on this run of plants. Im having so much trouble not harvesting; i clearly do not have the patience for weed to grow. Still, everything is going swimmingly; the aero plants continue to grow calyxes off of their buds producing the asparagus tip like growths. The dwc flowering pants are loving the extra space they have been given and are starting to produce trichs on their buds. The vegging dwc plants are getting taller and are happily producing roots. This round of vegging clones has seemed a little slow in the growth department to be honest, but they should be just fine 12 days from now to go into flowering.
I planted two of the kish seeds that had cracked in the paper towel. One more is showing a root and the other 7 not yet. We shall see. I wouldn't be all that thrilled with 3/10 germ rate, but it's only been 48 hours so they may just be slow. Really, as long as i get one female it's all good, although i'd certainly like a couple or more to pick from.

day 46/19 and all is well. The aero plants are startning to harden up a lot more then they did last time, so im hoping on more weight. I have more colas and they all seem to be producing better, so i think ill do substantially better this time arround. The next set of plants should establish the benchmark for the full system since they will be the first set of plants run through all three chambers in the perpetual cycle. My kish sprouts look great, and i have two seeds popped still to plant, so 5/10 germ so far. I also found a seed in some Oaktown weed i bought yesterday, so we'll see if that's viable. I would doubt it, accept that it didn't fail the crush test. We'll see, it's fairly irrelevant i suppose lol.

ok so its day 47/20... and i think im going to harvest. Under the glass the girls are showing amber, so i know im in that zone. Im just surprised i can flower in under 50 days :P. These plants had 27 days under the cfl and then 20 days under hps. I want to reverse that so that they get the most HPS time they can, so i'm going to swap the cycle early this time. Ill need to go to at least day 45-50, whichwill take at least 35 days under the HPS for maximum yeild.
Sproutlings are doing well.
Wet weight will be forthcoming.
