First experience with GO Box

Howdy all. I just moved and got set up for first indoor in a while, I'm currently living in an area that, suffice to say, forces me to buy from Amazon. A lot. They had a killer sale on the GO Box, I'd used a couple of those products and liked them, so I gave it a shot.

Lighting was 400w 4200k MH in a Dominater xxxl hood.

First spoil for the seedlings was Nectar for the Gods #2. I read the info on it from a site that had mistakenly switched the info with the #4mix. Oops! So I actually lost a couple seedlings and they all got a bit cranky before I figured out the mistake, as soon as I fed them they all perked right up and carried on.

First replant was 50:50 #2/happy frog, plus a bit of worm castings and some guano and mykos.

Second and subsequent repots were happy frog, castings, guano, mykos, and some granulated azomite. Once they were planted into the smart pots (5 and 7 gallon just to see if there was a noticeable difference at this plant size) I switched to 600w 4200k MH for 2 weeks.

Once I switched to the 1000w HPS and 12/12, it took at least a week before they started showing any crowns. I've had crowns with one of these strains in 80 hours before. That was the first point at which I became concerned.

Bud production on all but one of the plants was and still is pretty lack later for the time span. 5 days ago was the 4 week mark and I decided I needed to take action while I still could. For the previous two weeks I had been slowly increasing the nute dosage to between 50-100% over even the heavy feeding numbers, and still was not satisfied with weight gain. On the bright side, it seems you can really go nuts and not burn the plants. Starting two waters ago I began including Kushie Kush at ~60% strength, and the difference was immediate and dramatic. Trichome production and bulking were obviously way up after 24 hours.

I've fed twice with it as well now and things are looking good- I'll turn a good crop out yet.

I have used the GO Box, or rather my cousin did when we had a small collective, and it sucked.

Besides, GH/GO are owned by MG now.

I should mention that I'm actually really happy with it for veg. The color of all the plants was great. The growth speed was good. Not as good as with the teas I usually make, but really good for almost no effort beyond making sure the pH was correct. Even the squid juice doesn't smell that bad, haha.

The obviously newest pics on this post bring us up to this afternoon. I included a pic of some of the fall colors popping now, since you can't tell under the hps.

I used a couple of roots products like 5 years or so ago and wasn't impressed, but I'd be willing again I suppose. I learned an absolutely killer tea recipe when I lived in sohum for two years, once the weather permits I'll probably go back to it.

Oh- in case anybody cares, the front middle and left plants are Afghan x (northern lights x matanuska) and the other 4 are ((granddaddy purp x fire og) x blue dream) x heirloom sohum og.

You weren't impressed? You'd probably be the only one. Not even trying to be egotistical. Most people agree Roots is some of the most premium organics you can get.

Koolbloom..I'm about to apply with the rest of my nutes at 1/4 the strength recommended on the bottle. Anybody have experience adding this stuff to an existing nutrient schedule, and know of a None Shall Pass dosage?

I've been. Using GO for my first grow and I like it. I'll have to try out roots when this runs out though. Only 2 bucks more per quart and not owned by Scott's is a win.
