Thanks! I'm looking forward to it!

They're starting to smell like bud now. Thankfully none outside the tent yet (using a diy carbon filter and venting to the attic).

Looking pretty good homegrown. I harvested an easy ryder about a half month ago and it was also my 1st grow. Don't know if you were trying to keep the plants small or what but I had mine in a 3 gallon pot from start to finish. The autoflower's are so dynamic, since they do not have a vegetative stage, you could of kept the hps on them from the get go. When my easy ryder started flowering, the plant was about 14 inches tall with the fan leaves almost extending outside of the pot. I yielded about 45g's dry. Keep up the good work tho man and I enjoy seeing the progress.

45g is a very impressive yield!

I made a lot of small errors in the beginning of this grow which I think attributed to their short stature at the moment. They are growing significantly every day now it seems and are into flower.

I think the MH lighting kept them more "compact" than the HPS lighting and this may not be a bad thing in the long run, may just mean a much tighter cluster of buds at harvest, we'll see...

How tall was your plant at harvest? I didn't intend to keep them this small, its just kind of the way it worked out. Have any pics or a grow thread? :weed:

Yea I'm interested in seeing the result of using the MH at first. Unfortunately I do not have pics or a thread but I am in the process with two more right now. I'll definitely post up some pics when I get some. I do have like 2 g's left from my 1st harvest and Ill post some pics of that soon on here too so you can see how the easy ryder turned out when all is said and done. My plant was 23 inches when I cut her down. Happy growing man!

Looking nice Matty!

Next watering which should be tomorrow or the next morning will be straight water and then I'll be moving to 1/2 strength tiger bloom and big bloom. The last set of nutes seem to be really helping, the last three days of growth have been astounding.

Awesome Homegrown! Yeah, I always notice they love to take off the next 24 to 48 hrs after every nute bath. These things are fun to watch. Alot of growth between each watering. Just started some more tonight...Trying to get on path to have 5 per month, 10 going at one time...so fun to watch! I find myself looking more than I should...lol Happy Growing!

Do you start them in their final container? My next grow will be a non-AF strain, but I'd like to one day grow these again and be more successful at it. Sounds and looks like yours are doing very well. And, yes, I know the feeling about looking more than I should LOL.

I usually start mine in a plastic solo cup for the first 2.5 weeks, then transplant them to their final home, which is an 8in pot atm. This is when I give them there first 1/4 strength Grow Big bath, along with the big bloom(B'CUZZ roots is what i use, same thing) which they get from seed on up. I am going to try some by starting them in their original pots firstoff and see whats up. I dont expect any diff bc the roots seemed to be fine after 2 weeks in the solo cups....Ill continue to keep people posted. I will do a grow journal next time as I expect a early Christmas present of a digi cam here soon! :) Happy Growing!

Day 49 Picture Update

I flushed a few days ago as the plants were starting to show signs of nuteburn and I figured why not? They all look pretty good since then and I'm going to cut the bloom nutes in half for the next couple of weeks.

As you can see the front right one has continued to grow into a nice bush with a couple really tight branches of buds. I'm hoping for an oz. off that one and 1/2 of the other 3 so we will see! They're all still under a foot tall but they sure are tightly packed :bigjoint:

The grow tent you used I am trying to get one, and I dnt what to get. I mean i do, but I dont want to wast what little money i have. Anyways I was looking at ebay, and found a 4 X 4 for only 128 bucks. I am just curious as to where you got yours at, how much you paid, and if you were happy with the quality of it. Nice plants btw.

BTW good job on using fox farms! they are some great stuff. Can i make some suggestion perhaps for future grows?

Trying using fox farms ocean forest soil 1 bag, light warrior 1 bag, planting mix 1 bag, and there big and chunky perlite abouth 1/8th or more of that bag, Mix that all up and BAM! you got yourself supersoil. Look up the Moonshine mix.. this stuff is great.

Perhaps my plants are stretched out a bit, but autos do better if given root space from beginning. I think its best to go with a 3 gallon at least to a 5 gallon. Those plants really do look good though dont me wrong.

I am doing easy ryder and other autos, you can see my sig for link. I am using moonshine mix and fox farms nutes ( big bloom and tiger bloom) plus liquid karma. They really are looking great! I really do hope these plants finish in 70-75 days from germination!

Consider me subscribed to this journal, your ahead of me day wise, and I am looking for a smoke report seeing how your using fox farms soil and nutes. I am thinking about getting some molasses as well.
