You think maybe it has something do do with the nature of a "taproot"? As in the taproot is actively seeking the " mother load" of water to start its branch out of fibrous roots? Like in soil or coco the majority of the water is toward the botton of the pot so the tap grows longer before branching where as in dwc the taproot clears the net pot and immediately starts to branch due to hitting the actual water? Same sort of deal with a clobe as we keep those far wetter than a new seed?....just some post smoking thoughts i had...
