First grow and journal

Hey guys I thought it's past time I start a journal for my first grow.

Right now I got some andromina and green crack about 4 weeks into flower.

Basically I'm using stinkbuds system with a modification so I have 2 reses, one for longer sativa flowering strains and other for indica/hybrids.

its a 5x10x6 tent with a 1000hps bulb on the right and on the left a lumigrow 320 I believe, don't know much about LEDs I inhirited this one. I'll be adding a 400w MH soon too, hopefully it will help keep my room warmer too (its cold out here in winter and I'm growing in an abandoned house). 440CFM fan hooked up to 1000 gonna add 220 CFM for humidity and a couple fans for plant canopies.

So basically I started this grow forever but killed multiple batches multiple times from being a noob. The monster up there actually is one of 2 survivers of over 16 plants that all hit the dust. We had a 5 day power outage where I brought buckets inside to hand spray them. Although most plants survived that, I have some kittens that knocked over my veg bucket and started playing soccer with netting cups and plants so I lost all the strain names. Those plants included a Shoreline, OG Kush #18, white urkle, Chocolope, and headband 707. Unfortunately my most looked forward to ghost train haze #1 and 5th element died. once they start flowering you experts can help me Identify them! (feel free to comment/ask questions btw this is an open grow).

After losing so many seeds I popped some freebies including an Opium and a Jupiter OG. I also popped a Big Buddha Blue Cheese and 4 reg La Plata Alien Blues.

Most plants were FIMMed at 3rd and 5th node with some having mild LSTs.

Finally got some netting up in this bitch and got chains to pUT the led closer, I flushed the 2nd batch when transitioning into bloom with straight phed water for about 5 days.

In the veg unit half still aren't looking to great.

I changed the water ans switched the formula so hopefully they'll do betternow.

A few days later and thibgs are looking better, 3ven in th e veg where I forgot to replug!

The bitches are filling dis netting nicely.

Green crack first signs of budding, kinda late imo but I did but cut the shit of the roots. Maybe it's one of those extra long sativa flower phenos.

Looks like i spoke too soon.

Last night I realized my light timer was broken and never shut off. It did once below but I hit the switch thing and it worked....for awhile.

Ordered a new one and hopefully it doesn't fuck shit up too bad.

Maybe that the reason why week 5 and green crack first showing signs of flower?

The gsc was growing super tall with tiny side branches even after I fimmed it so I decided it was time to start experimenting with LSTs.

Unfortunately 1 of the plants is being a Lil bitch, so I'm prolly gonna toss it. Unless you guys got any good ideas.

This bay dream idk wtf.

I'm doing LSTs on it too now so hopefully that should fix it up. That and my nutes are prolly turned up too high for the sativa. But at this point I'm like fuck it it's a little bitch.

The Durban poison clone I got from same place is doing nicely though.

Just popped 4 more seeds cause I'm a junkie...and because 2 of the 4 alien blues didn't gerimate right or at all. 2 males would suck, at that 25% is too real.

The other 3 are from a reg ace seed mix, i popped some earlier which were looking awesome til I killed them by being a noob.

I took a few more clones from most my plants, the blueberry cheese is starting to get a nice root along with opium. I accidently pulled off half the tiny root of jupiter og when it was a baby, it's looking hella stunted but hopefully it will bounce back.

Having trouble with uploading pictures so it will have to be later.

I did some more work and finally figured out my problem to slow flower rate. Its the temps! I finally bought a temp and humidity meter and noticed it was getting as low as 47degrees!!!

I'm so use to the cold I thought it was around 60 at night 65 day.
So I added 600hps through cooltube, this time I hooked up a 220cfm fan to vent air from in the grow tent out in order to keep some of the heat from lamp to help heat up room. I added a small heater, and set up the fireplace.

I through out the super bitchy plant. One will never know what it was.

Subbed, looks good. I just started also. Ran into a bunch of problems. Just keep at it.

Green Crack/Andromia week 7 PH ~5.5, 2000ppm
Random Bucket ~week 2.5 ~16 days PH ~5.5 ~1400 PM

Changed res in both buckets, one of them looked funny so I washed it with bleach and rinsed.
After fixing heat I noticed a huge increase in growth rate, been keeping it around 65-75 but is definitely a challenge out here in the freezing NW with no heater in the house (lmao). Found another heater so hopefully that will help. Can't plug it in though til surge protector gets here as one just broke.

the 250w CFL I bought half the bulbs went out and didn't notice that it was off til I replaced them, but the other half were yellow.
Got a super nice white light now.

Changed all my T5s as 2 of the went out so I assumed the others were not very effective and about to burn out too.

Still working on evening the canopy and LSTs with the other ones. I'll post more pictures when things really start to take off.

Heres a question about damaged seeds. 2 of my Alien Blues from La Plata Labs on seedsherenow didn't germinate, 1 died shortly after. I don't really care too much I will be pretty upset of the 2 that did make it turn out be male. 50 bucks is alot of money for 5 regs imo. I've popped like 20 seeds with only 1 defect before this.

Should I contact them about this and try to get a new pack? If so how do I go about this, Im a legal med grower in WA but I don't know if I should mention trying to germinate? DOn't see a "dont germinate" discloser on their website, says its for medical and research purposes.

Waiting anxiously for my Sannies pack.

Since the canopies are evening up nicely thought I'd post some pics.
I really wish these other vegging plants would hurry their assesup so I can put them in the same res, not sure what I'm gonna do to fill this up and make everything end nicely. Is what it is though. C2 looks like it has the nicest of the seed clones, the GSC and LAD are also making some nice clones along with the DB and Bay Dream. The GSC and LAD just needed some love to properly branch out.

the plant (c3) under the led is budding hella fast.

Lots of clean up in veg bucket and more lsts. the alien blues aren't looking to we'll hopefully some added cal mag will help.

So long time no see.

Some bad shit happened, 8 plants bit the dust. At this point im thinking about putting in another PVC fence post to cut veg time and have all these plants I popped a spot. Plust more top colas more yield. We'll see how things play out though. Lets get a picture of the lovely badass ladies that have survivalism in their soul. Also changed reses. Im running about 700 on my Bay Dream, 2k on the andro, green crack, and put the veg chamber at 500 since its getting some new sativa plants that may be sensitive. Don't wanna overdo anything too fast.

AHhhhhh, so close, yet so far away. About 3 days before I start the flush. The Andromina is getting some really nice purple hues, I'm hoping to really bring it out by turning the heater off. Filled 2nd half of tent, NO MORE FUCK UPS THIS TIME. Also popped some more inferno haze, let the hunt begin.
