This is my first grow.
I will be using bag seed ( already started the germnation process) and a PC grow cab that i made myself.
everything is really cheap....i used an old pc that sitting in the basement and gutted it out and lined the inside with foil.
I hooked up 2 cfl lights inside and as soon as i can, i plan on adding more.
Im going to use Miracle Grow Moisture control and will be using nothing but spring water, no nutes to be used unless the plant becomes deficient. ( please, im using what i can afford and this was free on CL so dont come at me all crazy)
Pics will of the cab will go up when the seedlings are ready to go in. I hope you all stay for the long haul!

here's a heads up... when the seeds sprout get them up pretty close to the lights (2 to 3 inches keep an eye on them they grow fast) it will help keep the stem stay shorter and the nodes closer together. if you are growing in a pc case it helps :)
might want to read up on lst
lastly...be careful with that moisture control soil. It is easy to over water as it is with out the soil being spongy. get a good feel for the weight if it feels heavy? it's probably doesn't need water
happy growing :)

thanks. Ive read up on growing for about 2 years before i actually gave it a try. I was planning on mixing the soil with regular dirt from outside to make it easier but im not sure if thats a great idea. also i will be running 12/12 the entire to help keep them short. how will lsting help out with that? will i get more bud even if im only running 12/12?

I like lst for cabinets and small grow areas. it's all about training the plant to best use the space available. scrog with out a net,
i have an indica plant right now with 16 buds flowering in a 8 x 8 inch square (maybe a little bigger) and you can still move things around.

A couple of tricks i learnt:
- you can use a sandwich Baggie with some slits in it to keep the plant humid
- get yourself a spray bottle and spray the plant and soil thoroughly. You want to try to avoid pouring water on the plant or even the soil next to it

Cant wait to see the cab! Good luck!
