FFOF soil with about an inch of perlite at the bottom and powdered dolomite lime added in (1 tbsp per gallon or so of soil)

1x 400watt HPS
1x 200watt cfl
1x 170(maybe 150?) watt cfl
Been doing 18/6.

7 plants, because it is all bag seed and I don't know whats gonna be fem or male or hermy. Keeping fingers crossed. Original plan was to veg under cfl and flower under HPS and clone. Going to take my first cuttings in another week and hopefully get some kind of SOG set up when I isolate the females, and free up some closet space.

Water with distilled, have only fed nutes twice so far. Technaflora beginners kit, has an easy to follow recipe. First time I gave nutes I did 1/4 the recommended amount, next 2 watering I didn't give any nute, then I gave 1/2 nute with their watering they received 2 days ago. Soil still moist, not going to water again yet.

Some leaves bent and/or curled mostly because of space limitations. I try to rotate them and arrange them as best I can. Have too many plants, lol, need to identify the sexes.

Topped a couple of them, we'll see how that turns out. I'm currently doing a bit of lst but I'm going to start doing more on the taller plants in the HPS room.

Let me know what you guys think, I'll keep this updated as much as possible. Wish me luck. :blsmoke:

I think the best thing to do is remain in the closet. People don't need to know bout my side activities

(hopefully)Girls looking mighty fine as usual.

One of the biggest two is showing signs of a preflower I think. I can't observe it properly though, too early to tell.

Day 33, 2nd day of flowering for the biggest 3. They were all showing preflowers and I have too many plants, so I have to flower these and get rid of any males. The rest of the bunch are in the CFL side, not receiving quite as much light but they are growing.

Just fed nutes to flowering group. Had a problem with the claw on one of my plants, flushed it last night so hopefully it gets better. It does seem a bit better.

Took cuttings about 5 days ago. All of them seem to be doing fine, even if they are sagging a little bit. From what I've researched they should stand back upright when the roots develop. I've been keeping them humid as possible and spray them frequently throughout the day. Decent sized cfl is on 24/0 on them. Other than the sagging, they all look healthy and still very green. Haven't had any wilting or yellowing. I have a seedling heat mat underneath and I conditioned the rapid rooters with a little bit of thrive alive when I first soaked 'em. Should be seeing some good results in a few more days I gather?

Let me know what you guys think!

The preflowers on the 3 are definitely visible, but I'm having a real hard time identifying the sexes.

I've read that male preflowers tend to not sit directly on the stock of the plant but rather are connected by a very tiny "stem" and female preflowers tend to sit directly on the stock. All that being said, some of the preflowers *appear* to be sitting on a "stem," I suppose, but it also seems like a pistil is protruding from said preflowers.

I guess all I can do is wait. It's really hard to get a good close up picture with what I have, or I would post some pics for you guys. Any tips on taking close-up shots? lol

stealth bump?

I'm sorry, I really don't know what you're referring too. Are you talking about my cuttings..? Yeah, I snipped what I felt was unnecessary considering I just chopped it off.

If you're talking about my video, where do you see plant leaves cut off?

Just took this picture. Day 3 of flowering and they just woke up from their 12 hours of sleep.

Been watching this plant closely, and just noticed new growth underneath the first preflower I saw, now making it appear to be 2 small balls sitting on top each other.

Definite male here?

I hope i'm right too. I personally never kill my males take them to another room and put them in a box made of saran wrap to collect the pollen. Once i have the pollen from the male i dry him up, toss him in a blinder grind him up soak him in alcohol either 151 or rubbing alcohol 91% shake it every 1hr for 24 hrs ( minus the 8 that i'm sleeping or trying to, during that time i let it soak.) I then Strain everything into a glass bowl in a pan filled with water on an electric heater stove ( on of them portable ones needs to be electric because of the alcohol fumes are highly flammable, this method is fine for people who aren't complete dumb asses if you are doing this indoors make sure you have ventilation put some osculating fans around. Now on the glass Bowl I have markings of where it was when i filled it up with water and where the levels are when i fill it up with alcohol. You can kinda make a judgement call on where the levels should be when all the alcohol is out. Alcohol turns to a gas at a lower temp than water. As long as you keep that in mind all you do is boil all the alcohol out. You should be left with some oil and a nice green tincture. Boil it down to the thickness of your liking it'll take a couple time to complete. And i'm not really a teacher, but if you are interested i could break it all down step by step instructions and send them your way.

Many will say it is pointless with males but i've done it and i know it's helped me a lot. so who ever says males are useless are just to lazy to break it down into a more useable form.
