UPDATE: Plants are both budding. white hairs are shooting up everywhere on the mexican and the aurora indica has a cluster growing from the top. AK plant is looking better and greener by the day, however I think it is still in shock. I'm hoping it will eventually pull through.

A good idea to figure out when to water your plants, water them plenty so the soil is well saturated (don't drown them though), pick up the pot, get a feel of it's weight.
When the pot dries up from being absorbed by the plant, it will become lighter.

Now you can tell when your plants need a watering by the weight of the pot.

It's also a good idea to let the plants absorb all of the moisture in the soil by not watering as often. In nature plants don't have a steady supply of water at all times and the times they get water are not on a schedule.

Aurora indica is definitely NOT in shock. It's starting to stretch like crazy. I'm going to wait about 3 days & post a picture of the new monster in the dresser.

Gunrunner- thanks for the tip. I usually just feel the soil till it's dry around the rootmass, then douse it in my water/pantfoot mix. I use the exact same nutes per gallon in my hydro as I do in my soil. it seems to be working great. I appreciate all input, good... bad ... or completely neutral.

UPDATE:

everything still growing well. The Aurora Indica doesn't look as well as I think it should, however it has been growing some nice roots since introduced to the DWC/bubbleponics.

Today I was blessed with 72 degree weather with a nice breeze. So what did I do? Took the flowering Mexican lady outside to soak up those tasty rays from the sun! It gave me the opportunity to kill another 4 inches or so of grow space. I used to have my air pump under a shelf that my plants set on top of. Now, I have my air pump setting on the side of the Aurora Indica pot, under its leaves. So today is awesome, both of my babies get max lumen available to me, and my growspace is clean as a whistle! Picture time! (Plant will be brought in before the sun starts to set to keep 12/12 and temp)

Medium: 25% Mulch, 10% Perlite, 5% Rock, 60% Coco Coir plant medium
Nutes: Full strength "Cha Ching" FF Nutes used as directed on label
Genetics: Hell if I know. It came out of a bag of pretty good dirt an older Hippie dude shared with me. I was so impressed by his "Low quality" bud, that I felt obligated to get it to full potential. I think I've done okay so far given the equipment.
Average Temp: 77 degrees Fahrenheit

Grow is almost complete. I'm waiting for my trichs to amber. I've snipped a few bottom buds and dried them in my shroom chamber. The smoke wasn't very harsh, but it most certainly was potent. I can't wait to see it fully cured.

I decided the aurora indica was to where I wanted. it is now hanging to dry, her mexican sister is soon to follow. I will post total DRY weight when I manicure the buds and what-not. I will not count the amount I smoke prematurely. I think I'm going to be close to 2.5-3oz. We will see.
