Alright up to 1000 views glad to see all these people interested in my grow thank you to all. As for an update today, all three look very healthy, and are thriving. The middle one seems to think that it owns the place and is taking up as much room as it can before the other plants catch up lol. And instead of just dropping by to take a look post a comment id love to hear what everyone thinks.

Ok plants are growing great i just have a few concerns, The leaves are starting to overlap because of the confined area that are in should i trim them so they dont overlap anymore? Also there is some browning occuring on the ends of a few leaves, first they become a little flakey in one area, then it starts to die in that area. And the leave are curling down towards the tips should i start watering them more now, i usualy give each of them a 2/3 bottle of water every 3 or 4 days.

you definatly should not trim off the leaves.. you want to keep them on.. you are going to run into space issues regardless.. your best bet is to do some LST to them... tie them down a little..

do you know the PH of your water/soil?? the browning is probably related to a ph inbalance.. its a good place to start checking...

do you have a moisture meter?? if you dont you should invest in one.. it will take the guess work out of when and how much to water... otherwise you might want to set the pots in a drain tray, water them, and let them absorb the water in the tray for a couple hours.. then dump whatever water is left over.. this will make sure the plants are thoroughly watered...

I got some pool PH/Chlorine test strips, im not sure how accurate they would be with soil, maybe i should take some tap water which is whati usually use to water them and some soil and swish it around for a while, then test it and see what i get. Im really tight on money right now. When i get paid its going strait to my cell phone bill. I might check into a moisture meter once i get some extra cash.

check the ph of the water right before you feed and the runoff water after you do water.... this will give you an idea of the soil ph... if your runoff is really low ph you know the soils ph is low and has salt build ups and needs flushed.. or if its high that you need to add some dolomite lime to lower it... at any rate it will give you an idea of where your at and what you need to do...

The water before is between 7.2-7.6 and the runoff is about 7.2the alkalinity of the water before was 40ppm and the runoff was about 60-70ish ppm if that helps any the chlorine was 0.

yea.. thats all the problem is.. your soil ph is probably very close to the same as your water.. which means you need to lower it.. your best bet is to get some soil acidifiers and use.. the main problem with this is you will want a soil ph test kit to make sure you dont over do it.. your next best bet would be to get some ph up and ph down to adjust the ph of your water before you water... you can use lemon juice to lower it if you want.. but the amount you have to use will depend vary.. so you should start with a little and add as needed... this should fix your browning problem within a week or so...

Alright thanks man i wwas thinking about flowering in a week or 2 right now each plant is about 7 or 8 inches tall and in a week they should be close to 10 or so, So i was thinking that only leaves me with about another 14 or 15inches of grow space and i dont know how much taller they get once they start to flower. i just want to be sure i have enough height on them. i was thinking about LST, but i dont want to go through all that trouble.

its not so much the height, as much as if they have a chance to reach maturity... you want to see alternating nodes before flowering to make sure you get the most out of your plant both potency and yield wise... an immature plant will still flower just fine, but won yield as much or be as potent as if the same plant was allowed to mature... the choice is yours.. either way you'll still get some damn fine smoke!

also if you take clones off of a mature plant you can throw them straight into 12/12 once they root because they will be mature already.. just a thought..

as far as lst goes.. yea, its a pain in the ass.. but when limited on space its well worth the hassle... again its your call.. but im sure you would be happy with the results if you did choose to lst a little bit...
