Here is my setup first timer so far have 2 going 1 hanging on and a couple germing. I dont know what kind they are they were from seeds I have collected over time; but they are 2 different plants. For lights Im using 5 42w CFL and fert. and soil I got from lowes. I may have around 100 invested in it so far. Please let me know what you think. If you think you may know what kind of plants they are feel free and give a guess. (I wish I knew) Thanks for all the help

This was mainly a test before we bought seeds but the plant on the right is starting to smell very skunky so I have my fingers crossed its female. Keep the advice flowing need all the help I can get

if there's a way for you to turn your lights sideways that would help, more light gets down to the plants that way

Thanks they are around 2 1/2 weeks and I just had 2 babies pop up from the dirt. Yea Im going to use the same cfls for flowering because they are 2700k so hopefully they will work. I have got the lights right now set to 18/6 and they are in 1 gallon pots. Once I put them in the larger pot they took off. I try not to look at them all the time (try)
usually once in the morning to make sure the lights turn on and once in the evening and everytime I look they are bigger what size pot do you guys and girls recommend for flowering

Some of the bottom foliage is starting to wilt on my biggest plant should I be worried its not a lot just some of the tips I think you can see some of it in the pics
I think your over fertilizing, common mistake, and when you water next time go heavy to flush out the old residual salts.

some of your bottom leaves are gonna fall off..cause they dont get enough light..the CFLs only reach so far..but yeah i see the yellowing and the tips bending..i would really nute them every week..every other watering or maybe one after that..just lay off the nutes a little..

I feed every watering, after I water at 1/4 strength. I start feeding as soon as they get real leaves, but 1/8 strength then ramp it up till I get tip burn and then pull back the strength a touch.

Could it possibly be a nitrogen def. because all of the other plants are doing fine and the big one is having the problem. Maybe it needs more nutes? Anyone else concur with this new theory I have?

nope, a nitrogen deficiency would just be a more yellowish green all over. I think you've got nutrient lock out from the PH out of wack, just a guess.
First thing to try is just flush your soil with plain water HEAVILY, and then feed your normal amounts.
It could be just old damage from when those leaves were very young at the time of the problem too.

I sure am glad your keeping up with this journal. thanks for all the help I flushed it but i wouldnt of considered it heavy, but Im gonna go back this time and flush them good thanks again.

edit also can we make sure Im flushing correctly I pour 2 liters of regular water (they are 1 gallon pots) and I get roughly 1/2 to 3/4 of a liter back it that heavy enough. Almost instantly you can see the leaves become heavy and start to drupe. Does that sound good?
