Yea I agree sounds like you got it down... You doin a DWC? You take any pics while in the process of growing like early veg late veg and early flower? I'd make sure to flush your Plants 3-4 weeks IMO

Just seems like they taste better the longer you flush... I see most ppl only flush last two weeks but a tip I got from some pros is it's best to flush 4 weeks... I like your strain too can't go wrong with trainwreck or cheese...

†LOL† yea, um...I'll probably be asking YOU for advice. :blsmoke: +rep, journal it! sounds like good stuff to take notes from. ;)

not quite sure how to journal, even though i seem to be on the right tracks, i have made mistakes.
i have had way to much stretch - NOTE TO ANYONE WHO TRIES CHEESEWRECK, IT GROWS FOR 3 WEEKS INTO FLOWERING!!!
also had a bit of bud burn - 20 mins afer light came on, too close to light.
will post pics of the harvest, as they look extremely tall and gangly.#
we learn by our misakes though.
thanks for the +rep people.

have taken cuttings, first time again, but only 50% took. will post pics of them later, as the are elsewhere at this time.

this was about 2 weeks into flowering, and the next two are the successful cuttings, week 4 from when we took them

Looks like you got the journal thing figured out :)
Keep in mind thats part of the point of a journal. Perfect grows are good to learn from, but the problematic grows are probably twice as helpful. In those you have to come up with solutions, saving other people who read it the trial and error it took to come to that solution if they come up on the same problems. Or maybe it will just make them keep things in mind, like the bud burn issue. Always helpful though. :blsmoke:

Hi all, just an update, the girls are now coming to the end of week 4 of flowering, so i shall explain a bit about them.
They are basically set up in the following way:

seeds germinated and transplanted to rockwool cubes and propogated - can provide more details if required

when seelings were big enough to leave the propogator, transplanted into plant pot with clay pebbles

i have 4 pots - 1 from 5 seeds didnt take - using a 250watt Envirogrow CFL light, on a 18/6 light cycle

the 4 pots are held over a reservoir with an airstone in it and twice a day had been watered using Advanced Nutrients SensiGrow - can give info on the feed and its stregnth if rqd
the feed eventually ceased from being needed to pour over the rockwool cubes due to the roots growth reaching the reservoir

when roots became close to touching (and also too big to remove from the reservoir), they were transplanted to bigger containers:

20 liter capacity squared bin (squared dwc to avoid root bounding)
here they were receiving 20 liters of SensiGrow

this was now the beginning of their vegetative state.

The dosage of the feed added was slowly increased to 40ml for 20 litres of water. each plant has its own 100mm airstone

NOTE: I have to manually change the water and clean the container, airline and airstone roughly every three days

This was a good time to inspect root growth and clear any dead foialage away, to avoid and infections or risk of pests

They are then running under a Sunmaster 600watt HPS light. remaining on the photoperiod 18/6.

Here they remained in veg until they got so damn big i had to flower them.

So i changed my light cycle on my timer to 12/12 and cleaned the containers, airlines and airstones.

I then, in 20 litres of water, added Advanced Nutrients SensiBloom and Advanced Nutrients Bud Blood

They only had 1 feed of Bud Blood. From this point on, the feed cycle changes.

The containers would be topped up to avoid them running dry. The next time the needed a top up, i would go through the cleaning process again.

Weeks 2 - 4 of veg - the are given Advanced Nutrients Big Bud and SensiBloom.

The Big Bud finishes this week, then they will have 2 weeks of just SensiBloom.

Then they will be flushed for 2 weeks, ready for the harvest window on the trich's.

I will post pics post-harvest, and will update on the baby girls as well.

From the cuttings held, there should be more going into the propogator in the next 4 weeks, ready for my Sea of Green.

Any questions on the measurements i have used, my supplier for all my feed and equipment, or any advice i can give, please ask.

Three days until i harvest guys, will let you all know how i got on. Had a little pre-harvest snickle smoke and it is very pokey stuff, sticky, stinky, smells great, smokes great, but not quite flushed just yet. Friday will be a happy day :)

get sum pics up mate...
i will after i harvest, they were a bit gangly, and have nute burn, plus the light makes the photos flickered.

i will be posting a weekly set of photos through my next crop, which go into flowering sometime next week. I will start a new thread for them and journal weekly.

Happy toking!:weed:

Hi everyone, the results of the grow are in.

The yeild was quite large, when cut down it weighed 47.49oz. This was from 4 plants.

Obviously it lost weight whilst it dried and cured, but the smallest of the plants produced the following picture. Each container holds 1/2 oz dry.

As you can see, it didnt lose a lot of weight. Maybe only 50%.
It dried remarkably quickly, however, the longer it dried and cured, the more it smelled - almost putrid! And the better the high.

The one thing i found was though, although it gave a great couchlock and head buzz, it didn't seeem to last that long. That may be due to the fact i completely abused smoking it :-P

A couple of the medium sized buds

Any questions let me know, the kids are now under the lights in my tent , but this time, i have upgraded to the pots they use for the IWS system. I have also put 2 soil plants in there so i can compare tastes etc.

Happy Toking!
