First grow..CLoset,Cfl,Auto flower "Hijack"

Hi Everybody,

This is my first grow,so anything that you advice me would be nice... this is limited budget growing...

* AutoSeeds company "Hijack" autoflower 2 feminised seeds
* 6 x 20 watt 1300lumens per cfl 2700k,
2 x 32 watt 1650lumens per cfl 2700k and
2 x 18 watt 900lumens per T8 6500k

* regular pot soil (light mix) in 9 liter pots
* dimensions of the closet 70 x 50 x 150 cm
* 2 fans 90m3/h one is exhaust, one is intake

so they germinated at 6th of November and i start with the small pots which they are 4 liters first picture, when 12 days old)... by the way i made several mistakes in this time , like transplant to larger pot, over fertilizer, light burns... but this is my first grow so i'll learn...second picture shows the fans. İ know intake fan is middle of the closet but i think that "maybe will be better cause it flows air over the girls so i don't need extra fan for cool down the girls.." When i was thinking that i had some light burns on some leaves and i cut them out..know is going well i think...room temp. 25 to 28 degree Celsius... 3th and 4th picture todays...




so i like experiments, and try to make some experiments on one of these girls. 3th picture (left one in the closet) i fimmed two stem and will try LST.. (or what's yours opinion??Should i try or what??)

you should check out acidjesus's hijack thread in the auto forum. He didnt use cfls but he could prob give a couple tips about what kind of conditions hijack likes. dont do LST on autos since they go straight to flower they do not have anytime to recover from the stress associated with it .

Actually lst is ok... Not as effective but its ok. There is next to no stress associated with it but the dimming and topping has to stop... When you top a plant it sends all of the energy that was headed to the top to the plant that is diverted to the lower 2 bodes. If it decides to flower right after a cut you could divide your yield by 2/3

Liquid, you'll need bigger pots 9L that's 2.3GL. I used 3GL pots and I think I could go bigger, but if the space is an issue then you should be fine, go easy on the nutes at first see if she likes it, my hijack just loved them nutes lol, like every body said, no topping, no fimming or any of that shit, autos don't like that and they don't have the time to recover and like Bumps said even LST is not that effective on autos, you should just leave them as they are

Get ready because those two plants will get stinky, but yeah they look a bit small for 22 days. They look nice and green healthy though. You shouldn't be using any nutes 'till they hit like around 3 weeks and then you give them the nutes at 1/4 of what it says on the chart,and also for autos you should be fine with just some of flower nutes, because there's not a lot of veg. growth, soil that you're using should have some micro shit in it to help sustain first couple of weeks of your plants life, transplanting autos is a no no also just plant them in their final home.

today i ordered 250 watt hps with cooltube reflector, carbonfilter with powerful fan for the filter and some hydro grow equipments for the next grow.. Dutch Passion seeds " think Different "..

28 days old.. GROW GROW GROW....
Roots are coming out from the pot... 9 liters doesn't enough as acidjesus said....

hey guys,

today i change my setup cfl to HPS and add carbon filter with fan..
i covered the walls of the cupboard with panda film for better light reflection...
the current setup is;

carbonfilter ===== 200m3/h fan(sucking the air) ===== cooltube (250 watt HPS)==== 90m3/h fan (extra exhaust)


last fan is not necessary i think but i want to use it anyway...

also i am giving them decent amount of flower bloom (NPK = 3.7.3)

so the temp. is ok around 23-27 degree C



so have a nice sunday... BOOM BOLENATH...

can anyone tell me why fan leaves tips curls down???? Heat stress or what???

And one of plants very bottom fan leave turning yellow and very weak, why it can be?? nitrogen deficiency???

is this normal???? i gave them every week hesi bloom, pk 13/14 and power zyme...

and is it possible to heal these yellow leaves or should i just cut them out????

I would leave the yellow leaves and let them deal with themselves, but I've never grown autos so not sure if its different. If there is only a week or 2 left in the grow then I'd trim em off because that way the plant isn't trying to heal them and is using that energy instead producing some fat bud, but again, what do I know!

i cut almost all the yellow fan leaves and yesterday i gave them something which is NPK 20-40-40...its white little seedy things and dissolve in the water....anyway i gave it very little for the first and start to watching now... They are now 50 days old, on the site Auto Seeds says 70-80 days from seed to harvest.. so lets say three more weeks.. and about flushing??? How long it takes?? 1 week - 2 weeks ??? i watered them every three days...

clones are start to show some deficiency's so i put them in a soil.... let's see...
