Ok so first of all want to thank everyone in this forum as I have been reading up a lot of stuff here to get started. So i bought my setup and it is:
2'x5'x6' closet space
600w mh/hps - 6" cooltube
4" inline fan 4" carbon filter exhausting into attic
mylar lined walls
got 10 fem GOM seeds. 9 showed tap root within 48 hours with 24 soak and 24 hour toilet paper method.
2 gallon grow bags with FFOF. I have advanced nutrients nutes but wont be using until flowering.
Anyways after germing I put the seeds straight into the 2 gallon bags with basically no light as I was still waiting on my cooltube to arrive. 2 days after dropping into the bags (no sprouts yet, thinking I've killed everything at this point) it arrives and I get it setup and turned on with the 600 MH light. ~7 hours later i have a sprout 3 inches tall with first set of leaves! After 2 days of 18 hour light I have 7 sprouts so far...
