Id make my extraction numero uno and intake hole size the right amount so i get good jets of air through the tent, a fan pointed up at an angle can futher help with circulation after extraction is on point if feel like its needed.

Set lights at what gets you a little upward growth daily, plants do grow upwards so let them if they arent. I dont know led heights just read plants.

Browning is bad except when meant to, ferts or bad environment.

Ya know its gona take a lot of grows to iron everything out and read plants just keep it real simple and you will see the improvemenylts nessecary.

Initially i was just giving some basics, that is a lot of questions :-)

Hello everyone who comes here. I just wanted some more opinion about what I did. I’m basically starting this grow with a friend who know some stuff but experience but not even similar way of growing than what he did. He got two send of 1:6 and 1:30 Thc/Cbd autos. And the rest of the plants are some seeds I got before I was keeping for this occasion and to experiment and learn about how the plants grow and doing some stuff with them.
(Sorry about language mistakes, still learning English in the go✌)

Is my first time growing cannabis and I really been waiting and saving for it. I might made many mistakes and I know many of them but now I’m flowering for the last two weeks almost three.
One of the thing it worries me the most is the humidity, I would love to get it down to 35% - 45%. But is never below 50... I got it in to 40% just once and was just trying a heater I got just for that but the temp went to 28-29c and I thought is too much, plus the electricity kind of electric fans use...
I really would like to find an answer here for it.
I’m using a dehumidifier, small. In the pics I’ll upload you can see, the tent is 120x120x200.
The extractor is making sort of vacuum effect in the tent( I read that it could be positive, but pls opinions??)

The pics are little random, I tried to keep some plants clean of leaves and small grows because I read is the way to get big buds. But they are all different treated to see differences and reactions on the process.
Also the plants are been bend down since early veg. Stage. One top and one fim ( it didn’t work, sad story. But the toped one got three heads instead of two✌♂)
The plants are 3 northern lights. Two diesel. Two critical++ and one criticon. Plus the two Cbd autos.
They always look healthy to me and my friend. Just now I think I burned the tips of one with nutrient...
like many newbies I guess. If you want more pics I have✌. Just to don’t fill the post now. Okey now I think I’m done ✌✌
Healthy nice plants

Hey man, take my 2c with a grain of salt, im a newbie. I have a few browning pistils/hairs on mine have seen another thread about it could be cause of being touched? Someone could correct me but i would trim anything thats not getting light underneath(maybe do it over 4-5days if theres heaps. im sure a fan in between lights and canopy will eliminate heat factor if there is one, maybe something else is off only judging from pics if your week 4 in flower i would expect alot bigger buds. Hope it all pans out and figure out how to remedy it. Goodluck
thank you bazza.
i have two fans working 24/7 plus the exhaust doing vacuum effect in the tent. and today i put the one i was using to take air inside the tent blowing the air below the canopy to move the air. what you see on top are pretty much all my buds and all the leaves, there are some more but i took a lot off. i mean i been training the plants for a flat capony and below are almost nothing in most of the plants. it is my first grow but i wanted to try diferent things.
i defoliate mostly bcoz of the humidity and i could say it work. and im running out of options with my setup. and i dont know else i could try to get the rh below 45 - 50 %
the plants are just starting the 4th week of flowering, they have around 5 weeks of veg. i wish they were bigger but i could say the genetics werent the best. but still im happy of what im doing just the hum it keep me worried.

thank you a lot men, I know you right about the plants not having bad signals of being affected by humidity, It is just bcoz I would like it lower knowing is optimal, ill try to chill but as I said I tried all the alternatives from my setup and nothing works. ill try to get the filter and exhaust fan lit bit lower to see if there is any difference, now I'm trying to blow the air from the exhaust to the heater and back to the tent with the intake fan... not seeing results yet. I'm on the side of looking for a magic option, I was reading about candles and incense to control my room but I totally blame the wheater here. the house RH is never lower than 50 so I'm pretty fucked with that one.
just a little question to be sure,
at high RH is it worse to have high temp too? or the bad combination for mold and shit is high RH and low temp?
thanks again. (i wonder how humid it is in there)

I'm experiencing the same issue with my current grow. Just got a dehumidifier and still can't get it below 50. I have 4 plants on day 2 of flower in 7gallon pots.

wow that's 26 L men is huge. I guess your plants are massive also. i have 8 plants in 11 L not full so around 9 or 10 L actually used.

Like a good newbie, I wouldn't tell you to follow my advice, haha but if you didn't defoliate at all it would be a good moment to do it I guess... it did help me and I'll keep doing it bcoz I ran out of options. I'll just get a bigger dehumidifier and wish for the best. I really want to get RH below 40 for the last weeks. it suppose to be very good for resin production...
but being you just started I would just get prepare for later and try different setups to see what's more efficient.

also, i just got that if it helps you. just to guide yourself, I have nothing to measure the foliar temp but still it can help to get both temp and RH on the right spot

if you upto show me the plants, how long you give them to grow?

Also a newbie, so I do not have killer advice either. I just finished 7 plants in a 4x4. Even with a large dehumidifier running in the room I was unable to EVER get below 40% RH. I had a long sativa and ran 12+ weeks of flower. Humidity for my ENTIRE flower period was about 40-60+%. I had no mold issues.

Not saying I recommend levels that high but I believe that as long as you have proper air circulation that you will be just fine.

even with no advice that info is super good to have! thank you a lot men! now i know =)
ill keep trying new stuff and shit that cross my mind to see if it works or is pointless but still like a good newbie i haver to try everything ahaha
today ill clean them a bit from some small grows and leaves and hope that helps a bit.. i have no much time to find a way and if not ill hope nothing happens like to you =)

60% rh is no issue for flower or veg even higher but your house will start to mold not your bud at some point so you will know if you have problems or not that way.

We see air exchange defeats moisture from building or causing mold - good air exchange defeats humidity largely.

You guys worry over nothing generally :-)

i agree that we worry more than what we should... as a new parent... you well know how this feels like I guess everyone started one day haha. reading everything possible and trying to get everything to perfection for the first one... I already know my next grow will be fewer plants ( but bcoz of time I'm wondering if do more but smaller... I will see but I would like to have just 4 to make it easier... )
I'm a chiller than before. I'm talking with my friend about changing the dehumidifier for a larger one to see if it works better. I still can't figure it out if it's better to have my door open or close, if open the window or not... I'm trying all to see what's better but is such a shit to don't find any improvement xD.
thank you for being there to advise people like me.
of course time for a question xD
if the RH is 50 60, what should I take care of to don't get mold or anything on the bud (I mean related to "high RH") whats a bad combination for it?

The main learning curve is knowing what to ignore and allowing yourself a few initial mistakes.

Everyone thinks they need to adjust humidity that id be more intrested in those who dont do it to learn what those that do simply dont know or arent saying.

There will be a ton of mold in your soil and air naturally - so far its stayed there right? :-)

I take it, haha but I'm in the beginning of the learning curve. I'll keep uploading pics of the process=)

Everyone in this forum will either help or tear down your op. For first grow it looks good mate, keep your conditions relatively close to where they should be and dont over water the ladies and you will harvest something worth talking about. Im on my second grow and i keep an open ear in these forums but do your own research and edumicated yourself and you will do fine. My favorite forum on this site is the plant problem forum, learn lots there man. Good lucky and happy grow dude

I've got you on the positive vibes, not so much on the constructive advice since I'm less far along than you are.

I'm doing autos, too and started my first grow this month. I can say that even when I know better I am still prone to mistakes. I've found a lot of great advice on this forum and another. RIU has been more encouraging and constructive so far, but they've both got a lot to offer.

Good luck!
