So I think im going to take a trip to my local hydroponic store tomorrow to get some soil. Im still leaning towards the FFOF mixed with a pocket of happy frog. I would also like to add perlite but i feel like it would make it harder to follow FF nutes schedule.

how do i gauge which nutes to use?

That's what I do, perlite has no effect on feeding or feeding schedule. It is for drainage.

CLW are certainly not top of the line anymore, but they were among the very best LED fixtures in the days of blurples. Quality OSRAM diodes, well built, ran hot but dumped out a ton of light for its day. I used a Solar Storm 440 from them back in the day. 350ish actual watts with two built-in T8 UV fluorescent bulbs for flowering. That thing crushed my 3x3 tent. My modern lights are brighter, more efficient and run cooler, but CLW is as good as you're going to get in the pink/blurple world. That being said, the wattage of your light may be a tad low to flower your full 4x4. You may want to consider a canopy of more like 3x3 or 3.5x3.5 for better light coverage.

Thanks for the info. I’ll consider the canopy coverage when i get the plants in there.

Yeah thats what i plan on doing. Do you add perlite?
How does youre nute schedule look like?
Whens your first watering day?
I add 25% volume of perlite.
Nutes are dry amendments and EWC
First watering day is a shot glass of water on the day it breaks ground. 2nd watering is probably 5-7 days later.

Can you describe what you meant by “ Nutes are dry amendments and EWC” still learning all the abbreviations.

I purchased FF dirty dozen kit, is there things i could use in there besides the feeding trio and sledgehammer for the flushing?

I’m going with the fox farm happy frog, aqua forest and perlite mix then.
Im using 5 gal pots.
On average how many gallons can i get out of a 1.5cu bag of fox farm?

There are many ways to feed your soil or your roots. I prefer dry amendments that are topdressed in or mixed with your media at transplant. EWC is earth worm castings. These are fertilizers that need time to break down in the soil and the roots pull the nutrients from the soil. The dirty dozen you are choosing to go with is a chemical and you essentially feed the roots with it. Don't be shocked when you fry your plants with that stuff. Do alot of research on how to apply it. I tried just the trio and all three of my plants responded differently to it so it just made life difficult. I could not imagine how 12 bottles goes and am not interested in finding out either. Fuck that shit.

You'll get 2 of those 5gal pots filled with one bag.

Many thanks, man!

So with the FF Dozen as dry amendments go, i have their ““Open Sesame” - Early Ripening, “Beastie Bloomz” - Heavyweight Blossoms, and “Cha Ching” - For Late Flowering.””

You don't have dry amendments, you have chemical shit. 9 pints of liquid plantfood and 3 6oz cans of soluble fertilizer that will fuck your ratios up. I cannot help you with that stuff.

Local store was actually having a sale and the soil ended up being a little cheaper. With that being said i went ahead and purchased a boogie-blue filter, and a co2 bag.
