All good. What light you are using?
If there is enough power i would keep them veg for a while to fill up space. 2 more weeks or so.

2 phlizon pl-1000s, I considered a longer veg (currently they have 4 weeks) but I have another 3 in larger pots that will be vegging the full time these 4 are in flower and then they will be moved into the tent to flower themselves. so I'm not to concerned with filling the space right out in the first run.

Okay then you are good to go!

Thanks for the reply, could you or anyone else who sees this give me a rough ballpark on potential yield from these four at this size? I know there is too many factors to be able to tell exactly but just a lowball number would be handy.

jokes aside, 200w is on little weak side for 4 plants in flower, sure you're fine in veg with that amount of watts. looking good tho :joint:

Any light recommendations for flowering? Preferably on a budget but I'm not really fussed? Anything I get from these is essentially free but can always upgrade for better yields lol.

Id be happy with that, it is a first grow and as mentioned everything is budget lol, any light recommendations for flowering? I can always upgrade
nothing wrong with being on a budget, just for in flower maybe get another 200w. having 100w over each plant instead of 50w will be alot better.

Should get 200g plus.
Plants are ready to go in flower they will strech to a full box.
And yes your 200w is a little too little...hope you find a height that covers all of them nicely

First attempt at growing, Everything is budget stuff I could get for free/cheap including the tent (not all the right poles or corners but its up and has no light leaks) currently 2 days post flip, grown in 100% canna coco professional, how are we looking?
those are very healthy praying leaves! nice job! and the grow area is spotless......you did your research beforehand and it's gonna pay off.....watchout for that electric bill with bigger lights if you are broke...signing those well known 1000w+ electric bill blues

Thanks man, I'm not too bothered about electricity consumption, this was more to see how cheap I could do it regarding tents/lights and everything else. And as most of it was free or already laying around if I grow anything over an oz its profit lol. I have added another 200w to the tent bringing the total money spent to just over £200 not factoring electricity costs.

You could have got a hps for half that an saved some £ mind you leds cheaper to run overall but 200 watts is a bit weaker than id like they say the minimum is 60 watt a plant yet like others say 100 is a better mark in reality

There is 100w over each plant now, 200 is the total cost of everything - lights, tent, feeds, pots, coco, carbon filter and exhaust/intake. so I'm not particularly bothered and as its illegal to grow in my country can do without the heat from the hps light lol

HPS in this setup is not good, big space, low wattage bulbs = big no no
LEDs in this matter are good, your 200w leds should have 35K LM give or take total which is like a 250w hps but with much better spread.
Overall next time buy your tent according to your lights or the opposite, closer tent walls are better at reflecting light from not strong light sources.
LEDs have a rough time producing a long waves of energy (light) as their sources are so low (0.2w usually) that's why they need to be very close.

So in conclusion, for a 200w led, a 2x2 tent will help it reflect and reach your plants better.
