First grow in a while - Couple questions

I've successfully completed 2 soil grows and half of a dwc grow before i had to chop them.

I always used nirvana strains, however with my new grow I found out they do not ship to Canada Anymore.

So I purchased Dwarf Low Flyer, Revolver, and Jack Herer Auto fem from Crop King Seeds.

Got the seeds yesterday, and successfully cracked the 5 dwarf low flyers!

I am running in a dwc tub with 400w mh/hps

My questions are:
From what I've read I should not fim these autos like I did my regs in the past? correct?
How long do I run MH and what time cycle, and when should I switch to hps?

ya dont FIM them ....... 18/6 is a pretty normal cycle but i run 24/0 and a few others here do too .... i would switch to hps a week or two after preflower ....... start bloom nutes when vertical stretch has stopped , thats when the buds really start stacking

forgot to add if you run 24/0 you'll need some kind of break 15-30 mins ...... and thats just needed since its not recommended to run a mh/hps with out a break

Ok well my 5 Dwarf Low Flyers had a real nice quarter-half inch tap root today so I Planted them in jiffy cups for now.

I also started germing 1 revolver and 1 jack herer yesterday, and both were cracked with a small tap root just starting. So far very pleased with Crop King Seeds.

I forgot to mention I have 2 85w CFL as well, with both veg and flower bulbs.

I figure as soon as they reach for the sky out of the soil I will Place them under 1 85w cfl on a 24-0 cycle for 1 week. After the week I will cut the jiffy pots open and place in hydroton for my dwc tub (4 pots).

At that point I will switch to 250w MH running at 18/6, and I'm hoping to see some rapid growth from there on out. I will add the 85w cfls once they get a bit bigger and could use the extra light.

Does this seem like a decent plan? Any suggestions?

Also when should I start running veg nutes. I'm thinking slowly introduce about 2 weeks into the DWC setup.

Really unsure what to do with the extra Dwarf, revolver, and jack herer. I'm going to grow a dwarf outside, but I'll have to decide what I want to do with the revolver and Herer. I may run two bucket setups. It would only require purchasing another air pump and stones.... Maybe I should start a grow journal...?

sounds like you got it ...... id watch a journal if you made one ........ jack herrer is a favorite ..... ive never tried a auto of it though
