Hey guys newbie AF over here. Just kicked off my first grow ever last week. 10/16 I germinated 2x Berry Bomb, 2x White Widow, and 2x Cheese, all feminized. One Berry Bomb was bunk on arrival. Seeds planted 10/18 into cheap amazon 3 gallon smart pots with 3lb of Kind Soil as a base and filled the rest of the way with Fox Farms Ocean Forest. Been Fighting temps with the weather figuring out what it wants to do in the middle of October but they seem to be doing great as far as I can tell.

Grow Specs:

1 x Berry Bomb
2 x Cheese
2 x White Widow

Tent: 4x4x6.5
Pots: 3 Gal Smart Pots
Lights: 4 x 300w Bloomspect Led (Cheap amazon lights)
Nutrients: Kind Soil and Fox Farms Soil only
Water: Tap Water Left to dechlorinate for 2 days and ph tested at 6.8(haven't had to adjust yet but will use lemon juice if I have to.)

Ill post some pics of how they are doing 1-2 times a week starting now!

Any and all help and advice is greatly appreciated guys! Newbie needs know-how!

The 2 unmarked pots are Cheese

Alright, it's been one week since the last photos since then I've watered twice about a cup each with dechlorinated tap water at 6.5 ph. Really liking the growth so far they seem to be growing super fast! The one cheese seedling looks like it may be getting burnt by the Ocean Forest but I think it will grow out of it. The other cheese strain started to show similar signs but quickly recovered? The air pots are making it very difficult to tell when to water because the soil on the outside and top 3" is crispy dry and the soil on the inside is moist. Also have been struggling with low humidity and temps in the high 80's at times.

PICS!!!

Pics taken November 8th

Topped the cheese and fimmed the bigger white widow this week (typing this 11/11) along with some lst which the cheese seems to really be loving. Since these pics my smaller cheese plant has gone downhill and im starting to think i will lose it. have plans to clone the BB or really any of them to replace it as soon as I can. All the other guys seem to be doing great. BB and smaller WW are smaller but they both seem extremely happy. After LST the cheese started stinking up the tent BAD especially for any plant i've seen in veg...

in time you will relize that the soil will 'take care of' the ph issue

many growers mix in some 25% perlite into that FFOF as its a hot soil

diluting that hot soil allows you to top up with your own nutes later

I've grown all these strains tho not all at once ..lol

good luck

I realize that now as im having some drainage issues with Ocean Forest. I should have also used mychorizae too. I'm using a super soil mix from kindsoil so I can't use nutes without killing them is what kind keeps telling me. How did the BB turn out for you? Super excited for that one!
