Hi everyone, first ever grow here, ordered and germ'd the seeds. Iv made a few threads before this and everyone has been really helpful, so I'v decided to just make a journal in the right place and maybe get some pointers along the way from anyone interested in following. Its actually exciting seeing the progress every morning when I wake up. Iv been watering daily and it seems alright for now. Soil is dried up by the next morning. Im watering with collected rainwater. I don't have a ph tester so I cant be sure what my plants have been eating up. I have them on a 18/6 light scheduled since they were put in soil. Its a 400watt mh light for veg in a 2x2x5 tent I believe I have a hps bulb for flower its 400w too. Its in miracle grow potting soil... with some added perlite. I know by now one of the plants could probably use a transplant soon and I was wanting to get some promix hp and add worm castings maybe? Im not sure I want to continue with miracle grow, it seems alright but who knows. Well anyway the bigger one is the nirvana master kush, it'll be two weeks old on Thursday. The smaller one is nirvana blue mystic, its a week old since placed in soil.

I added a drop of molasses to my watering, I heard it helps the soil out a bit so why not.

Looking good. I just grew nirvanas master kush and loved it. Strong genes. Shes also pretty quick to flower (10 weeks) compared to acid/diesel (11 weeks) and thc bomb (11 weeks)

Solo cups are hard to water. Use a drip tray to help soak soil properly

thanks alot. Yeah I am really enjoying the way the master kush is growing in. Looks nice and symmetrical:mrgreen:. Im in the process of readying my bigger air pots and a new soil mix but i cant seem to find guano anywhere. I want to mix a nice organic soil. I have nutes but organic always seems best, I'm not really going for a big yield at all just want something nice to smoke on if possible for my first harvest. As for the water it kind of just leaks onto that little tray/holder and dries up fairly quickly under the light. I feel it helps with the humidity and its usually hovers around a nice 45-48 percent.

some master kush for you in my thc bomb journal. classic skunk leaves and classic kush deep earthy sweet smell. it looks most like a kush in veg, but skunk always takes over after the stretch.

if you want to go easy but amazing go with espoma granular feeds/tones. theyre a premix of a bunch of good organic meals, plus benefical funi and bacteria

the size of that master kush is insane. The middle stem is just all bud haha, I cant wait to switch these girls into 12/12. How tall did she get before you chopped? looks around 2 feet? Espoma eh, ill keep an eye out for it.

I took a few more pictures this morning, not much a change but the nodes on the master kush are slowly separating, doesn't look like stretching is an issue yet.

Couple more pictures this morning, I made a few changes to the tent and got a nice mix of soil ready to go in the container under the plants. Iv noticed my leaves staying rippled on my master kush plant. Am I watering to much maybe? I water every morning and wait for a tiny bit of run-off, its always dry by the next morning so it seems alright but the leaves maybe telling me differently. Anyway here are some pictures of the reorganized setup.

Also I have these airpots, I thought maybe run some tubing tube through one of the holes and attach a pump with a splitter to the two pots to push in some air to the soil/roots? I have an old aquarium pump I figure would work. I was looking at another grow journal on the forums and he had an aero garden pushing air at the base of the pot and iv never seen leaves look so happy:weed:. Here are some pictures of the pots with what I was thinking.

water with a tray to help soak the medium properly. i think its just the genetics, my master kush also had bent leaves as a baby.

did you see my master kush in my thc bomb journal?

Yeah I saw that, couldn't believe the bud packed on around the base/stem. Did you do any training or topping? Also excatly how tall did she get, looks two feet? How much did you get when it was all dry and done?

yes, use a drip tray. solo cups are hard to water properly.

master kush was 14-18" tall. i ran her 12/12 form seed and got ~30 grams from her. i did no training so i could compare yields to lsting once, and topping once.

i use a 150 watt light and i run 4 plants so 150/4=37.5 grams per watt, and im pulling close to that. id probably pull 1 gram per watt if i vegged for 2-3 weeks.

yes she is pictured in post #5 in thc bomb journal. smoke was excellent. i left her 9 and a half weeks from pistil. the smell and taste was earthy light and sweet becuase of the kush, and the skunk stunk like a skunk for a bit. after curing though, the skunk turned into a cheesy smell, so the end product was a cheesy kush. it was great. my empty jar still reeks of the cheese from when i had master kush in it.

2 weeks of watering daily it seemed the soil needed a switch up. I decided to just transplant both into airports. Decided to use the straw on the side as a watering little thing, maybe connect a small air pump later. I can put my spray bottle on a jet instead of mist and it shoots right in nicely. This should help make the roots stretch down to where the moisture is coming from. Not really much changing. These nodes are coming in close together it seems, not to sure. Anyways some new pics.

that sounds right up my ally. I love cheese actually got some big buddha cheese seeds i was going to try after testing these out. I was really hoping to get a 2 ounces from each plant. If you got 30 with 12/12 and 150 watt its within reach I feel. What does it mean when you say you left from pistin:wall:?

My damn master kush seems to be hurting. The leaves are getting wilted and just today I can see very minor yellowing. Im watering the exact same amount as my Blue mystic and at the same times and that seemes to be reaching for the light just fine. Anything I can do to help the poor girl out? Iv tried waiting a day without watering and fully drying the soil that doesnt seem to change anything because I was worried it may have been over watering.

Hardly anyone reads journals here, try re-posting in the problem section.

It could be your medium, which MG blend did you use?.

Just the standard potting mix that comes in the big bags. Im scared to leave them this weekend when one is in this state. Ill make a thread in the problem section like you said. Thanks

she wants water. as soon as the roots expand to the new soil, it should have ample food which is why im not suggesting feeding just yet.

what soil did you transplant into?

I transplanted to a mix of half MG and half seed starting mix, had compost perlite and peat moss in it. Both very light and airy. I watered a good amount and will check on them tomorrow.

Could be the soil or maybe a little heat and light stress what temps you running at and how far away have you got the light.?
