First grow need help/advice

Hey everyone im new to this site and this is my first grow so bare with me because I am a n00b, I am just curious to get some insight from people on how my plants are looking so far. I have 8 total plants, 4 of them I started from seedlings (I don't know the strains since I got them out of random baggies over the past year) but the other 4 plants I have are clones, 2 of them white widow, and the other 2 are hash plants. The seedlings are 46 days old and the clones are 5 weeks old, I was wondering how tall they need to get before I can flower them and in general if the plants look healthy thus far. I was also wondering if the seedlings I started (they are the back 4 in the pics) will show any signs of showing sex before I start flowering them? Any input is greatley appreciated, all you guys are awesome on this site!

i go by thickness of stem Charlie. it all depends on your grow plan. if you have time and space, you may wish to veg for a long period. you may be in a hurry......idk.

plants look good overall but i do some burning on the tips of the leaves. but yea i mean u must remember your plant almost doubles in size when it flowers to look at your plant and see how much room u have and also what light u have becuase if u dont have a stong light u might want to do smaller grows so u have enough light to penetrate all the leafs

they will show signs of sex between 4-7 weeks in general,you want females of course.it all depends on growspace as far as how tall u wana growem.Maybe a 2 ft point of reference would be suitable for you,but then again i have no idea how big yur growspace is.

Thats not right seedlings can only be 28 days max.

I built the grow tent myself from 2x4 and poly. The tent is 50 in wide and 65 in tall and 32 in on the sides. I am using a hydro farm t-5 light, i plan on changing the light spectrums when flower time comes. The light is also 4 ft wide and it is hanging 12 inches away from the plants. I dont have a ton of space to work with so i couldnt build it bigger.

I am willing to be patient and veg for longer because i do have time, is that i general better to do? I was planning on vegging them for 3 more weeks then flowering them? But for how long do i flower 7-8 weeks? I hear so many different things from people but i trust peoples opinions on here more. Thanks guys!
