First Grow, Paradise Magic Bud, Barneys Farms LSD, DWC

So this is my first grow, and my first post on this site, I have been lurking these forums for months and have learned a lot, and have finally decided to do a grow journal. So, on the left are the magic buds, and the one biggest one is from bagseed which I started a week earlier. On the right are the LSD's, which were started 1-2 weeks after the magic bud. Those are 21 liter buckets, painted black and covered with mylar because I was having root rot issues (which went away after I added hydrogen peroxide). I am using 6 23w cfl's, but should have a 400w hps by tomorrow. They are in a 3' x 2' x 5' grow tent, and have 2 air pumps (a tetra whisper 100, and a marine 200) powering them. I am feeding them sensigrow 2 part nutes. The magic buds were started from seed on Oct 24, and the LSD's were started on Nov 04th, so it would seem they are growing slowly? Also I have a water pump pumping into the LSD's for a bubbleponics type setup. As you can see, I am having problems, and can't seem to find what they are. Closest I would guess would be Mag deficiency, but I have fed them, and it has not gotten better. Let me now what you thin it is. Any and all critique/advice is appreciated. Thanks!

Thought I'd finally update this shit. Someone here probably could have told me that 3' x 2' would not be enough space to grow 9 plants, lol. So the bagseed plant turned huge and turned out to be a male. I started flowering maybe a week before Christmas, I'm not really paying close attention. So on the left, the Paradise Magic Bud started flowering nicely, one plant grew huge and took over all the space, the other two are wilting beneath it. The LSD plants (on the right) didn't start flowering for weeks, but are now VERY tall, and are starting to smell nicely of skunk. The one magic bud plant has two tops, and 5 VERY strong side branches, which look the same strength as the tops. Paradise was dead on when they said this thing likes space and likes branching. Up until yesterday the humidity has been at a steady 100%, with water collecting on the leaves. I finally decided to put a dehumidifier in there.

I bought a 250W HPS set up, but I took it back. It seemed too powerful for such a small space, and I am hugely paranoid of fire hazards. When I was in the store, one guy brought in a broken bulb which he said exploded. That freaked me out, so I decided to stick with CFL's. However even with CFL's I had a problem, I spilled some water on the extension cord (without realizing), at least thats what I assume happened, and it exploded while I was sleeping. Caused quite a bit of smoke. I ALMOST ended my grow right then and there.

So far, Magic buds look beautiful, it has been growing beautifully the whole time, and is now covered in trichs. No trichs on the LSD's yet. I'm getting excited about this, starting to look and smell nice in there.

So I dont know who in their right fucking minds would grow hydroponically, what a fucking crock of shit. Why the fuck did I spend 100's of dollars more, just so that I could have 100's of more problems? I have had ph problems, root rot problems, nutrient problems (AN nutrients all gunky and thick at bottom of bottle), nute burn, and on top of that, the plants are growing slower than a mother fucking down syndrome snail. So why the FUCK am I growing DWC? I wish someone could have told me that it would be 10x the price and work and trouble, for absolutely NO extra benefit. Yea, maybe if you have a big house and all the fucking time and money in the world to keep the environment perfect. As for me, FUCK THIS SHIT! Whoever suggested DWC for a small closet grow, go fuck yourselves, I hope you die. 6 weeks into flowering, and I've got a bunch of .5gram popcorn nugs so far.

Have you cleaned the bucket any time through out the grow? You need to clean atleast once every 2 weeks with chlorine and dishwasing soap or something that kills any residue that builds up after awhile.

Wow. You actually seem to have solved my slow-growth problem. I actually hadn't changed the reservoirs in awhile, or cleaned them. Noob move. I changed them, cleaned them, changed nutes to DNF 2 part, with some extra DNF crystal fortifier shit that the hydro store gave me, and they seem to be growing MUCH faster, only 2 days and I can see a big difference in size. Thanks man, spot on.

Harvest and smoke report:
I harvested the Magic Bud. I had to harvest a bit early, about a week earlier than I would have liked to. Trichs were about 90% cloudy and 5% amber as best as I could see it. However they hadn't changed appearance in awhile, and they smoke great, so I don't think it was TOO early. I don't know how much it weighs yet, that's it finishing it's drying in my humidor, set at 40%. I would recommend this strain, never gave me much of a problem during growing, that wasn't my own error anyways, and also grew well even when I did screw things up. The buds were small, that's the biggest bud in the pic, but there were lots of them. This strain grew EXACTLY like it was described by the company, it's side branches were as strong as the tops. Probably has potential for high yields, but I only used 6 23w cfls for this grow, which she shared with 4 other LSD plants, which I will be harvesting in a couple weeks hopefully.
The buds smell like sharp skunk, and they smell extremely sweet. Might have something to do with the carbologic I fed them, but they smell almost sugary. It tastes predominantly of cedar, thanks to the humidor, delicious. The high very potent, and is a creeper. I took one small hit on my way out, and thought it didnt get me high at all. about 3-5 minutes later it hit me hard, got me higher than most weed gets me. Very strong high, euphoric, which is nice. I could function on it, minus the red eyes, which I usually don't get.
I havn't weighed it yet, and as I'm inexperienced , I have no idea how much that looks like. Over an ounce I'd guess anyways. Good enough for me.

Well, I harvested my LSD. Shoulda taken pics before I cut it, but ah well. Some of the the buds got HUGE, well, huge compared to the tiny magic buds anyways. Had a couple different phenos, 1 got huge, grew a lot of huge buds, and had an amazing calyx to leaf ratio. Another got huge, but only grew 1 large main bud, and was very leafy. And the other two were very small, each with one main high calyx but. Beautiful plants, I would love to grow them again. They are still drying, looks like a couple ounces. Smells very grapefruity, with a hint of skunk. I've smoked some which I cut a week earlier, it is some crazy potent weed. More potent than anything I've smoked I think. Long lasting high, and deffinitly more trippy. Very cerebral, but focused.
My scale came in, the magic bud turned out to only be about 20 grams. Also potent shit though, now that it has properly dried and manicured. It is amazing how much quick-drying kills the potency. The magic bud is not as potent as LSD, and it makes me more spaced out and unfocused. Now that it's dried and manicured, the magic bud doesn't smell like much anymore. Smells very earthy, and you cant make out any skunk, or weed smell at all, until you grind it up.
