Hey all experienced growers i appreciate your help..
i have white castle seeds from nirvana shop, i germinated 3 using a cup of distilled water. the two that made it this far are in a 10 gallon storage tote top feed/drip system. right now i have 1/8 strength miracle gro all purpose water soluble just once a day for 15 min. for lights i have (1) 18"15wattT5 (from an old aquarium that supported plant life), (1) regular incandescent 60watt grolight i had lying around the house (1) cfl 13w=60w blue bulb, (1) cfl 13w=60w red bulb, and (1) 68w=300w cfl bulb (all cfl are spiral and all lights have reflectors).the lights are about 6-8 inches away. the 300w bulb isn't in use right now. for now this what i will have to use so if the lights are a problem i will have to experiment. the ph is around 6.2. i have (1) 4" high velocity fan a foot away from the plants but directed towards them and a 2' foot tall ionic breeze type on low. its constantly 80degrees and humidity has been 40 for days.the light is on 18/6 and i don't think i forgot anything.
the picture below are of the two plants in net pots.
wc.1 is plant #1 and wc.2 is plant #2
i am gratefull for all help given and apologize for my extreme longwindedness...lol... TY
wait i did forget somethin.. the grow is in a closet.. 4'x4' x8'heigh

wait for some more leaves to sprout, they look fine. If you want to harvest anything useful off of those, get an HPS light, cfl's don't cut it once you start flowering.

Ok first of all its natural for your sprouts to be that small. Are they a week old from when you first put the seeds in a cup? Or a week from when the seeds were planted?

Second, you should not be feeding your plants any nutrients till they are at least two weeks from when your seeds break ground! You will end up burning the plant and destroying any chance of its survival. Optimal conditions from day one is what makes growing an easy thing to do. However, if you don't create the best conditions from day one then you will most likely have to struggle with alot of issues during that grow.

I know this is all new to you but a little research can go along way! Part of the reason you're here but other reliable resources are always a plus!

Third, miracle grow is a soil nutrient. Drip system is a hydroponic setup. Meaning you need to be using a hydro nutrient solution. Besides... miracle grow is ok to use for soil but better results are to be had by using other hydro nutrients that also offer supplements and additives.

Fourth, for a hydro system your pH is not too bad but still just a bit to high. Ideally you want your systems reservoir to be as close to 5.8 as you can get it!

This is what your feeding schedule should look like...

THIS IS THE SCHEDULE IN WHICH YOU SHOULD BE FEEDING YOUR PLANTS A GROW NUTRIENT

Germination - pre-veg(week 1-week 2)= no nutrients
Veg(week 3) - veg(week 4) = 1/4 strength nutrients
Veg(week 5) - veg(week 6) = 1/2 strength nutrients
veg(week 7) - veg(week 8) = 3/4 strength nutrients
veg(week 9) - pre-flowering(week 10) = full strength nutrients

AT THIS POINT YOU SHOULD START FEEDING YOUR PLANTS BLOOM NUTRIENTS

pre-flower(week 11) - pre-flower(week 12) = 1/2 strength nutrients
Pre-flower(week 13) - flower(week 14) = 3/4 strength nutrients
flower(week 15) - 3 weeks before harvest = full strength nutrients
3 weeks before harvest - harvest = flush with fresh water daily to rid nutrients in grow medium

Also your dripping schedule should look like this...

Week 3 - week 5 = drip twice a day for 7-10 minutes each time
Week 6 - week 8 = drip three times a day for 7-10 minutes each time
Week 9 - week 10 = drip 4 times a day 7-10 minutes each time
Then continue on with that schedule till the 3 weeks prior to harvest

I'm sure you've also heard this a million times... but at this point the two best things you should be spending $ on is a T5 high output light setup and a couple 32oz bottles of hydro grow & bloom nutrients.

Hope this helps!

Thanks Ebb & Flo!! but for the watering schedule the system i have isn't legitimate drip emitters, its just continuous flow 1/4" tubing running off a 130gph pump with adjustable flow rate and its set on low so its probably at 75gph. Also the timers that are available to me are in intervals of 15 min.
I dont have the water pouring directly onto the rockwool though, it flows into the grorock directly next to the cubes so as to not overflood the cubes.
Also until i get some good Hydro nutrients, is it bad for my plants to be in the 1/8 MG ALL-PURP (npk- 24-8-16).
I first put the seeds in the cup on 6/20/11. they split in less than 24 hours, broke soil 6/23/11. etc, etc......

OK so i got lucky, before i would have to go for a lil bit of a drive not too far like 20 min. but there was a bridge and a toll it was a bitch but there's two nice hydroponic shops in that one town, or id have to order off the internet. But i just found out that a month ago a Hydroponic shop opened up like right down the street from me (i can get anything from there wholesaler product catalog [310 pgs], thats a pretty big selection!! lol), and its pretty freakin fantastic.. for anybody in the outside nyc area and your lookin for a good store have i got the place for you but anyways..
I went there to get some FF Grow Big to replace the Miracle Gro good move obviously, i the genius bought the soil version by accident... its a good thing my babies don't need nutes yet..
which is why i switched the 1/8 MG ferts for some fresh distilled water i checked the ph and it says 6.0 but all i have right now until Monday is an Aquarium tester that came with a chart that does 6.0-7.6 so it could be less prob around 5.8 which is prob better for me anyway.. its fresh distilled water so im sure its fine...
So hopefully leaching with water for a week will be just wat the doctor ordered......:weed::weed:

If you wanna go chemical for nutrients go with Canna nutrients. They make nutrients especially for different systems. If you wanna go organic I recommended Earth Juice or General Hydroponics General Organics BioThrive.

So if you're not using drip emitters and just using air tubing just decrease the drip time. Let your water pump turn on for 1 - 2 minutes and direct the air tubing to your rockwool instead of your hydroton. For the amount of time that your plants won't be getting fed, they will dry out. So don't worry about root rot. Just follow my feeding schedule but decrease the drip times from 7-10 down to 1-2 minutes. Go to your local hardware store or your closest Walmart, even that new hydro shop. A decent timer will only cost you about $10-$15. And it is critical!

Your right they have 1 minute interval timers for fairly inexpensive prices at a few stores near me, looks like i got a few more things to get...
My #1 plant i gues ima call him has grown a lil the 1st set of leaves has seperated from the cotyledons and started raising upward but everything is still curling down...
these pics were taken before i switched the Miracle Gro 1/8 dilution for 100% distilled water so well see what happens ill post some pics of the #2 plant later.. also i had germd a 3rd but he didnt make it to sprout or so i thought when #1 and #2 where growin tall i looked at #3 and it was just a twisted mass of white cotelydons buried in rockwool up until yesterday but i left it in the hydro system just in case the lil guy felt like growin..... and he has awaken!!!! so all 3 were germd at the same time but #3 sprouted a week later??? lazy bastard...ill post #2 and #3's pics later...:weed:
