Started first of May with seeds. Knew there was a chance from everything i read that the genetics of the seeds would not be good and have a higher chance of being hermies. Practice run so gave it a try anyway.
Started with good dirt from grow store. 3 gallon buckets...Two grow lights 27/7. ph down. filtered water. just a little fertilizer. Changed to 18/7 lights at day 30.
Started Flowering on day 41 12/12 most were showing female preflowers all over 2 ft tall.
I'm at day 14 of flowering. 54 days from starting seeds. They are all over 3ft tall now. Using bloom food every other watering. Just removed 3 plants yesterday saw some male and female flowers on them...sure they were hermies. Hope i won't see anymore. The rest just have female flowers.. Didn't realize how hard it would be to destroy those plants. Got attached. Do you think at this point I would be seeing more male flowers on others if they were hermies? I have attached photos. If anyone has any advice please let me know......

Darn the pics uploaded out of order... can't figure out how to fix.

how many watts? how many lights total? Nice grow though, i always use bag seed to do test setups...nice and healthy looking

600 watts, Two lights total. They are 51" from base of pot to top of plant. should i be triming leaves or is it to late at this point. So what do you think about the hermi problem? Having to cut down three was hard. Should i be ok if the rest aren't showing male preflowers at this point? .....

trim off the bottom leaves that dont get light on the flowering plants. start from the very bottom and work your way up. it will allow the energy to be directed into the top growth to nice dense buds instead of popcorn buds on the bottom.

use veg nutes for the first week of flowering. on the second week start dosing "flowering" fertalizers every other feeding , and keep using the veg nutes. stager off the veg nutes and stop using them at week 3-4 of flowering. this will make sure your plant has enough leafy growth to support the buds. after week 5-6 start dosing with 0 N fertalizer. this will make the plant eat the nitrogen stored in its leaves and get you the best possible bud growth.

Thanks for the info!!! i was afraid to stress them by triming. Using foxfarm tiger bloom extra strength 2-8-4 fertilizer and FoxFarm Big Bloom 0.01 - 0.3 - 0.7. every other watering. Sound ok? stop all N after week 5-6?
