First time growing, seeds germinated toward the end of july.
Strain - rare dankness starkiller
bonus - grape stomper
Pics attached from setup/germination to present.

Since this is the first time I am doing this I will appreciate feedback greatly
I managed to get root rot and have a slime algae issue that I was able to to get through. I also did some of the low stress training and topped the plants, still a lot to learn.

Hey 'Tory

Beautiful! Great pictures!
My first hydro grow succumbed to root rot. It was tragic.
Nice recovery!

Are your air stones floating or are they at the bottom?

Please post in the Kessil Club 2016 thread. I would love to see a couple pics of your light setup.

Cheers,
Mo

As far as "lollipopping" what would you suggest for these? I feel like I should be stripping off more from the lower parts of the branches.

(this is from today.. looks like theres a big difference between the pic from yesterday heh)52-101.jpg

I wouldn't remove anything. When you switch to 12/12 they will stretch and need all of those leaves to feed the process.

I did an experiment with a pair of equal LA Confidential clones. The one I trimmed stopped growing and the other doubled in size and the cola was much thicker.

Just make sure you have the fan blowing good and hard to keep any transpiration moisture from sitting on or between the leaves for very long.

Isn't a problem when you are fighting the heat from an HID light and running AC. However with the cooler LEDs you need to keep things much drier in your canopy.

The Afghanistan mountains are cold and dry with intense sunlight/UV.

What PPM are you running at?

You are going to have some quality dank in time for Thanksgiving!

I will be adding some more fans for better circulation and airflow through the plants once i switch to 12/12. Based on that I would assume I should cut down on foliar feeding to maybe 1x-2x per week? maybe 1x a week? PPM is currently at 1070 (I use RODI water and start at 0 ppm when I mix)

anyone have any tips or suggestions they learned through experience as far as going into flowering and that half of the cycle?

Switch to 12/12 and use bloom nutes. Pretty simple. You already have all of the tricky hydro parts dialed in.

Are those the clones you clipped?

yup the clones took root 6 days after cutting them, I didnt use a dome or anything that I was supposed to with them I only just set them up in the cubes and placed them in a tray on the floor.

What humidity % would you recommend for bloom? I am planning on targeting 60% humidity
strain info on their page doesnt seem to be too helpful

Indicas come from very dry mountain climates.
I was never able to get my hydro area dry though. In fact I started getting mold on the walls from all of the condensation.
I think 45-50% is what I have read that others doing.

Its sits between 52-58% right now. Ive also added more 380s. One of the plants turned out to be a male as well, saving the clones from that one.
