What strain?
Same again for this run as i still have seeds but i think im gonna give the rest to a buddy, i really fancy growing something new. I am not sure what i want to grow so i was looking into maybe doing a Sea of Green run next time. I have spotted some pots that are 8cm square and 20cm deep hold 1.5 litre's. I have enough room that i could put 12 of these into my box but i think i will go for 6 or 9 so i have room to spread them out a little. It would most likely be auto's and the aim would be for decent single cola's. The final weight is not something i would be worried about because it would just be nice to grow a few different flavours at once. I really dont know though thats just what im thinking now and could change by time i finish this run.

I just started the 24 hour dark before going i go 12/12 tonight so i have about 9 or 10 weeks till i start something new and plenty of time to think. What i do know is i already want more space more plants more growing. The first run has really gave me an appetite for this and i am enjoying every minute. I finished for my holidays at work 4 days ago and i have done nothing but research and watch other grows its mesmerizing.

Might fire up another journal because it feels like im giving back or adding to the knowledge i learned here.

1.5l is tiny, even 1gal is small.
You'd get better yield by just topping and lst for the space with 3gal. A lot easier to tend to 4 plants than 9.

I hear ya on growing something new, I got rid of couple clones from previous run because I had my fill of it.

I just started 4 C99's, since I'm about two weeks from current harvest.

2 Weeks from harvest makes me drool lol Hope its looking wonderful buddy.

It wouldnt be about yield, Its just about throwing in a mix of different strains to get a variety of smoke but really its just for my own view of different strains all growing at once. Right now i really see this as a hobby more than anything else i really am amazed with growing. If i was to pull 5g off of each little plant i would be happy with that, It would mean i have succeded in watching different strains grow at the same time and also got a little smoke as a bonus. In the future when i have a space to get a real setup, i will be looking more towards yield but right now i just want to learn and enjoy.

Ya but wouldn't you want a bit more of each strain to try?
Yeah having lots of strains to try is great but that's a lot of work and probably more money in the long run.
Experience can't be bought for sure but why not start getting some usable experience in training techniques. That way your not starting from sratch when you get "serious".
I just started this year, it's almost been one full year, I sure learned a lot and so much more to go. My grow evolved with every harvest, from better tent, lights, grow medium, ect...
I was able to do 4 harvests.

Dude who cares, let the man grow, you obviously have your own objectives and he has his. Why try and put it your objectives on him, especially when he didn't ask for your own opinion. I completely agree with him. I grew veggies last year and didn't yield so much, but I didn't care because I loved watching it grow. The yield is the bonus, but watching a plant grow and develop is my pay off. See that? Different objectives. I

Nice job man, Loving the height of them all just budding away all leveled out. This is the part of grow you really get gooosebumps knowing your so close lol. Hope they taste as good as they look.

Yeah i got plenty of time to ponder on what my plans are i just really hate having only enough space for one but i do see the positives of learning as i am. It lets me manage a plant in a small space and with any luck by time i step it up i'll have learned how to use that info to get more from the space i will have. I can pretty much relate what i want to do in future to your grow now, There managed perfectley from what i can see.

The other option i had was 4 1gallons or 2 2gallons, As i said though i got over 2 months to ponder on my next grow and fully understand what your saying. I think in truth i was just being a little over board with so many little pots as i originally started out with the idea of doing the 4 1Gallons. I am also playing with the idea of tossing a few Auto's outdoors for a guerilla experiment i have an amazing spot that has not seen a human being in years and has great light coverage. My heads going full speed on idea's just now, most likely because i am off work for holidays and got to much time on my hands lol.

I'll defo get a link up at some point i have took 1 photo per week of this grow just incase i decided to log it. I might even wait till near the end then just put 1 big post up with a full detailed grow.

Tomorrow i order a Mars II 400 which is almost the exact dimensions (length and width) of my box so i think it will be a nice additon and i could also use it in a bigger setup in the future. So good times ahead hopefully.

that will be a nice bump up in light power for your little box
Think it will give better results all around since it is almost the same size as cab it will cover the whole square perfectly. I have a 4 inch RVK that i have had since my first grow just incase the smells and temp got to bad in there, So i am already prepared if it causes more heat etc and as mentioned it can be used in a bigger setup when i can get it.

So with any luck its a win/win.

Gonna try get a quick journal started shouldnt take long to write one up. The only reason i hadnt started with one is because its the same strain in the same conditions as this grow and it would have been almost identical. The only difference from this run and the last is that i have been feeding heavier. But this new light will arrive in time for the plant starting to bud and will hopefully make a difference to the yield at the end. So i think it is worth doing another one with these changes.

lots of us have mars lights laying around, i have a mars 300 out in my barn that i no longer use,, still a good light, and it served its purpose at the time, and hopefully your mars does the same for you, your used to your ufo, so its a step up , and having it fit your box is a win win for sure, and being prepared for the increase in heat is good, because there will be more heat, but its manageble,, good grow bro
