First Grow: Stealth PC Case - Auto Blue Mystic

Here we go. This is my first attempt at a grow. I have made the PC box myself. It was my brother's old PC. I gutted it out, threw in some mylar, wired up the fans, glued in the lights (3 6500K CFL's) and vualah! I am going to be frequently posting pictures so hopefully you guys can help me out with my plants. I don't have any nutrients yet so can someone who has grown BM give me some advice?

Plants look amazing so far. Can anyone help me with picking out nutrients to buy and how to use them?

Update. I've had what I thought was going to be a MAJOR setback and end everything but now I don't know where its going to go. Pretty funny story (just not for me) so listen up. I am 18 years old and live with my parents so I am growing in our crawlspace. (no one has been in there in years) I water the plants every night whenever I get the time. The crawl space has one light in it in the front and that doesn't light the back 30 feet of the space at all. (I'd say the dimensions are about 20'x50' and about 4 ft ceilings just to give you an idea) So while I was watering, checking the plants, and taking pictures, my cat jumped into the crawl space must have walked around the side where I couldn't see and went to the back where I also can't see at all. Had no clue she was in there and locked it all up and went to sleep. Left for work at 5am and came back around 12am when my mom told me she found everything because the cat was crying and she opened the gate to the crawlspace and there it all was. She was pretty damn pissed and said she was going to have everything thrown away by the next morning. Well, I come home from school on monday to find that the lights have been plugged back in and everything is running again. I have no clue why she did it. She said she is trying to find someone to give the plants away too but I don't think that will happen. So for now the plants are looking great and continuing to grow. I have said everything I could about how its not harmful, how I am not doing anything wrong (besides the illegal part) and how I just really want to see the plants grow and see what happens. As of right now I have no clue what the future holds with my dad coming back from Boston on Friday but I have some updated pictures and they are looking fantastic. I really hope I am allowed to continue growing. Even if I dont get to keep or sell any bud I really just want to go through the whole process of growing, it amazes me.

The lights were off for about 24 hours because my mom unplugged them and both plants stretched a little but why would the one be so much taller than the other?

haha..damn cats man, they're sneaky. the one could be taller for a number of reasons. are you growing from known seed or bagseed? obviously, if it's bagseed, it's just that. but if you know it's the same strain, probably just phenotypes.

you'll be fine with your containers, though if you can go bigger, it probably wouldn't be terrible. smaller containers also keep the plant smaller...which is good for inside a pc where space is valuable.

i think lst is pretty freakin sweet. i tried it on my grow (see sig) and i think it turned out pretty well. not exactly the prettiest plant at this point, but the results are appearing to be well worth it. it wasn't too hard and it's pretty cool to see how fast the plants shift/adapt to the bending. i think i was at my 3rd or 4th node when i bent em over.

dir, it's in the thread title..haha. i tried to read the thread and i didn't see it. and yeah, it's probably just phenotype. from reading stuff around here, the autos are still fairly 'new' and the genetics aren't always perfect/ideal if you do lst, i'd be really interested to see how an auto does with it. probably won't want to go too extreme, since you can't control the veg time, but still probably gonna help your yield a good bit

Plants had a pretty rough day a few days ago, the cat struck again. I left the door to the PC box open for about 30 seconds to fill up a cup of water and I come back with the door on the ground, one plant knocked over, and the other plant with 2 fan leaves devoured. They are still fine and healthy but they look ugly with the half eaten fan leaves. I'll post pictures later.

The pistols are starting to come in thicker and a little darker in color. Also, a slight amount of trichomes are starting to develop. Getting PUMPED

i personally don't think you should be spraying them while their flowering... it can cause mold and other issues on/in your buds

I havn't been spraying them at all. When I water then I drop a few drops onto them with my fingers but thats about it. I think it is amazing how great these plants are with absolutely no nutrients or anything besides water and how much they have been through. I just cant wait to harvest!

So you can just glue the lights/power strip to the case? Crazy Glue? It's strong enough, huh?

And how are you powering the lights/fans? Do you use the pc power supply or direct to 120v?

Used gorilla glue. Put glue on both sides and tape it together for 24 hours, that things never coming off.
The lights are all powered by the power strip and I wired the fans to a phone charger. Have the light strip and fan cord plugged into a surge protector then into an outlet
