Keep the Mars between 18" to 24 " above canopy as recommended by the maker. However I put around a foot at times with good results.

These were a mix of West Coast OG and some " mystery seeds " but I love my MARS lights. You will find the trolls on this forum bashing these lights but they produce good bud.

I don't have the extreme heat issues with HID lights or needing fancy exhausts. I grow STRICTLY small / Closet grows ( for my own meds ) not the neighborhood. I use 2 tents for each stage ( 1 for Flower / 1 for VEG ) or use both for AUTOFLOWERS on 18/6. There are many setups you can do. I use MARS HYDRO 900w LED panels.

They have not failed me and I am currently on my 7th run with them. They do put out some heat - but with good air circulation I can run with tent open or closed. This is actually a bedroom setup  and am comfortable with them running. At my nighttime I zip them up or schedule DARK TIME ACCORDINGLY to match my own sleepy time. My plants love this light . Use the distance recommendations as a guide for your own grows.

Experiment ! :bigjoint: You will find the " right " distance by how the plants react to it.

Yes!! Now the two smaller ones had a brutal start as they had to be transplanted and look stressed. Right now they are just drying out gave them about half gallon each of just 5ish ph water three days ago. What should I do? Thx!

Okay, what i think it is, is because of stress, and to little light, and as i said before idk bout LEDs, only HID and CFL cuz thats what ive been growing.

Think about the temp and humidity, you have to have those dialed in. And also i thin vegs like alil more moisture than flowering, so i suggest that you dont let them dry out too much. And are you checking ph of the soil?

About the blotch, i cant tell because of the lights, try a normal light instead of under ur LEDs.

peace!

edit: You gave them water thats PH 5. Thats way to low. Mostly my soil has been lower than the water i put in, and i put in 7phd water(normal tap water)

Soil pH has been hovering around 7-7.5 for the majority of them thus far, Temps range from 22-27c typically and RH40ish percent most days. Okay my tap water is at 7ph naturally after sitting for a day.

That is way to high, it should be fluctuating between low 6 and high 6. Temps are good. RH should be between 40-70% ideally so try to not go over or under that!

You should bring the PH down and they will grow better!

So in addition to the current lights I included a Mars v2 1600w led panel in the purple and widow tent and a 700w Mars v2 in the autoflower tent today.

I fed the Autoflowers last night the following;Gh flora series and liquid karma, silica and rapid growth all in one sitting like a gallon worth (until runoff, checked runoff pH water at a steady 6.5) but this one lady looks burnt... Just leave it?
