Sup guys. I'm kinda new here so go easy on me.

I thought I'd post some pics of my plants here too so I can get some feedback on how I am doing. I am a total newb trying to grow organically. So far I have 2 WOS Pakistan Ryders going, 2 WOS Strawberry Blues going. I am about to pop a WOS Kilimanjaro landrace Sativa and a G13 Labs OG13 (og kush).

I had some issues with using the the wrong pH water and a little overwatering. I stunted my PR in flower pretty good but and caused a slight nitrogen lockout as you can see in the pics, eh, that's what first grows are for, learning and getting better.

My organic soil consist of various different kinds of bagged soil (FFOF, FFLW, Roots Organic, Lady Bug Vortex), then I ammeded the soil with Earthworm Castings, Alfalfa mean, Kelp mean, Greensand, 4 different kinds of Guanos and only water with a molasses tea.

Eitherway, lmk what y'all think. More plants coming soon. These are the most recent pics. Don't laugh, like I said, this is my first grow.

Meh...plants are boring to watch grow.

why mix 4 soils? just curious.

for outdoor, I just switched from FFOF to roots organics, and I'm never going back! I feed my girls straight water and the soil has everything they need in it. Stuffs great (thanks local hydro store for recommending)

Alas, the more the we grow, the better handle we get on the whole thing. Good luck!

Yeah, I'm kinda nuts....I used 4 different kinds of bagged soils to provide variety. Here's my mix:

For autoflowers and vegitative growth I am using:

Contains:

-5 kinds of compost
-rice hulls
-Texas granite sands
-perlite
-hadite
-humates
-BioZome for microbial activity

I went ahead and ammended it with:
-1/4 cup Alfalfa Meal
-1/4 cup Kelp Meal
-1/4 cup Greensand

My plants and I are loving this mix right now.

For my Organic flowering mix, I will be using (if I ever get there) this:

-1 bag Roots Organic potting soil 0.75 cubic ft. (only size left and last bag)
-1 bag Roots Organic Bigworms Earthworm Casting 1 cubic ft.
-1 bag Fox Farms Ocean Forest 1.5 cubic ft.
-1 bag Fox Farms Light Warrior 1.5 cubic ft.
-1 bag of Lady Bug Organic Potting Soil 1.5 cubic ft.
-Sunleaves Mexican Bat Guano 10-2-1 (1/2 cup)
-Sunleaves Peruvian Seabird Guano 10-10-2 (1/2 cup)
-Sunleaves Jamacian Bat Guano 1-10-0.2 (1/2 cup)
-Sunleaves Indonesian Bat Guano 0.5-12-0.2 (1/2 cup)
-Botanicare ZHO Rhizosphere Root Inoculator (1 oz.)
-Xtreme Gardening Mykos Spores (3.5 oz.)
-2 cups of Alfalfa Meal
-2 cups of Kelp Meal
-2 cups of Green Sand
-2 cups of Garden Lime
-2 big ass bags of perlite

Heres the chart I used for when I decided to go organic. Hope this helps other newbs.

Sup guys! Thx for the props. Makes me smile. :D

Just finished transplanting the Paki Ryder #2 into her 5 gallon home, hopefully this one will get a little bigger. I might try to LST this one but I havn't ever tried it. Also, I just put the WOS Kilimanjaro 100% Sativa in the soil. I also got a freebie, dont know much about it...it's a G13 Lab OG13. Basically it's a long flowering Og Kush from what they describe. Hopefully more on the Sativa side. I guess I'll grow em see what happens. Will update in a few days!

Peace!

sup alter ego,im also growing outside in texas.are ur plants auto flower?
Sup man! Yeah the Pakistan Ryder are autoflowers but supposedly just as potent as some photoperiods.

The World of Seeds Strawberry Blues, Kilamanjaro landrace sativa and G13 Labs OG13 are all photoperiods and the real producers. I grew the auoflowers to get my feet wet with growing outdoors/organically and whatever bud I get off them should tide me over till the photos get chopped.

Eitherway, thanks for the rep fellow Texan! What do you have going outdoors this season?

BTW: The oldest Strawberry Blue is starting to smell like straight up turkey sausages. It's freaking nuts.

Well, here's a slight update.

The entire time I though I had a pH lockout causing my funky yellow leaves.....well after getting a solid pH pen and finding out that I was right where I needed to be, I realized the plants were STARVING!

This morning, I said, F it and I fed all my plants with my high N and high P Peruvian Seabird Guano. After that I went to take a long needed nap. I came back out about 4 hours laters and all my yellow leaves were going green again!!! 4 freaking hours!!! Wow, I didnt expect it to happen so fast!

The pics still may show a slight yellow but keep in mind, the leaves were banana yellow 4 hours before these pics were taken!!

Anyway, these plants are nothing compared to all the expert growers on these boards but I am learning as I go along...slowly, but surely! Enough yap yap, here are some pics!

Pakistan Ryder #1 aka "my learning plant" @ day 36 from seed....still hoping for at least an 8th from this dwarf, lol.

Pakistan Ryder #2 aka "let's try this again" @ day 18 from seed. I am trying my hand at some LST with this plant. Also, this plant is in my fully organic soil a lot of the members here helped me make (thanks!). The PR/SB #1 are in straight bagged Lady Bug Vortex soil...maybe thats why they are starving. Looking good so far.

StrawberryBlue #1 @ day 33 (severely stunted due to lack of N :(, hopefully she bounces back now that I know what she wants.)

StrawberryBlue #2 @ day 2 (severely stunted/yellow due to lack of N :(, I will be transplanting this baby next weekend in a 15 gallon pot.)

But wait! There's more! Introducing the newest addition to the family, World of Seeds Kilimanjaro @ day 1. She is apparently a 100% Landrace Sativa from deep in the Kenyan jungles!! I really hope I don't F this one up, she is going into a 15 gallon container and will hopefully be growin out into a tree one day!!

I hope I am doing ok, LMK guys!!

As always, thanks for stopping by,

Pakistan Ryder #1 @ day 41: All the leaves are yellowing and dying and I don't know what the deal is. I have tried flushing, feeding, leaving it alone, etc etc...she just has not been a good grow. She was my first plant so I am not freaking out too bad. Funny thing is that the buds on her (what little there is) keeps fattening and getting more and more sticky resin/tricombs by the day. She has been stunted and stressed by me to hell and back. Just the fact that she is alive is something...I am going to flush her 1 more time and see what happens with her. If the yellowing and burnt tips do not stop, I might just chop her down. Oh well, first grows are a learning experience. I learned a lot from this plant, that is for sure. She smells great though, like piney fuel, baby poo and strong skunky musk.

Pakistan Ryder #2 @ day 22: I am trying to learn how to LST with this plant. Keep in mind, the autoflowers will not get very big outside due to the length of light I get (14ish hours) so don't blame my tiny autos on my newb growing skills . LMK how my LST look, I may be doing it wrong so someone correct me if possible.

Strawberry Blue # 1 @ day 41: Now this photo-period plants is really starting to look good. Nice green foliage, good growth, lush and generally looking great. She is showing female pistils already, I hope that's normal because I do not plant on her flowering for at least another 2 months. Rub your fingers on her fan leaves and she will smell like sweet honey sausages with a very like minty skunk undertone.

Strawberry Blue # 2 @ day 22: Now this girl is really taking off. I top dressed her with lime and gave her a tea which consisted of high N bat guano, Alfalfa, kelp, molasses and a few drops of dish soap. Mixed all that with rain water and fed her. She really greened up and is growing much faster than her older sister. It's funny because she is really different looking than her sister. The bigger one has more Sativa fan leaves and this one looks to be more Indica dom.

Kilimanjaro @ day 5: Now, I have really high hopes for this this 100% landrace African Sativa. She is the baby of the family but I am sure she will take off in no time. Once she gets older, I will be either topping or fimming her and taking a few clones.

I would love to hear some feedback. Positive or negative, thank you!

Those babies are sure loving the sun! I can't wait to see what your African baby does :)

Cheers,
Mo
Its been in the lower to mid 90s all the entire grow. No signs of heat stress yet but it is only going to get hotter. I hope these plants thrive in the sun. I will happy if I achieve half the success of your African Queen. I bought some Holy Smoke seeds and got a nice promo deal from them too. I bought 1 pack of Mulanje Gold and got 2x of each: Bhutanese Thimphu, Afghani Peshawar, and Nepalese Rukum. All 100% landrace Sativas! This will be growth next year when I become a better grower. Thanks for stopping by!
Some autos are soo tiny looking hehe, little cuties.
They can get big if you start them in big pots. They only veg for about 14-17 days so they don't really have much of a change to get big. I grew these plants to *learn* how to grow. My photo-period plants are the real bread winners.

They will love that heat - it is closer to the African region.

I got a deal too! I ordered the Mulanje Gold and got freebees which included my Malawi.

Here is my order:

Holy Smoke Seeds Mulanje Gold Regular
Reg Seeds Per Pack - 12 Seeds

Free:
UFO#1 CH9 Female Seeds Afghan Haze 33
Holy Smoke 2 x Malawi Gold Reg, 2 x Mozambique Poison Reg, 2 x Mulanje Gold Reg

Cheers,
Mo

Sup Everyone.

Its been in the mid 90s all week. Plants look great for the most part (PR#1 has a lot of nute burned tips). Snapped some pics before the rain starts...big storm brewing.

PR#1 @ day 44, fattening up, might hit that 8th goal after all. :p:

PR#2 @ day 25, modified my LST method to get the stem up off the ground, still a tiny little fucker, hard to grow big autos without a 24/0 light cycles.:

SB#1 @ day 44, starting to get those 6 fingered fan leaves, looking good and starting to fill out. Def sativa dom.:

SB#2 @ day 25, this thing is growing faster than the other SB still, fat/wide dark fan leaves. I hope this is the famous Blueberry pheno:

Kilimanjaro @ day 7, not much going on here, getting taller and developing its 2nd set of true leaves.

Thanks for looking, comment welcome!

Great thread. & nice looking plants. Interesting Soil Recipes.

The Extreme Myco is a terrible product IMO.. saw u were planning on using it. Just wanted to give some friendly advice. Oregonism or GreatWhite are supposed to be much better innoculants.

Thanks man. I have been doing some shadow creepin on your grows (no homo) and I can only hope to get as good at growing as you guys.

About the Mycos. Yikes! I mixed it into the soil about 2 months ago when I made up the mix, sooooo its kinda too late. The soil mix has been baking for about 2 months now. I hope it doesn't cause any harm...Like I said, I am learning as I go along.

I am thick skinned so I will take all the advice/criticism I can get. How else am I supposed to become a master grower!?

BTW: Thanks for your insight/info on the Strawberry Blue. Hopefully mine will smoke good enough!

Here we go. Just finished transplanting my photo-periods into their final 12 gallon containers. This is in my custom Organic soil mix that I have been baking for 2 month waiting to use. Kinda nervous...

But first lets get my tiny autos out of the way. :o
PR#1 @ day 50: The main cola is turning amber, the middle is cloudy and the bottom is clear/cloudy, when do I chop? Anywhere between 1-3 weeks?

PR#2 @ day 31 (LST): Counted 5 tiny bud sites so far.

SB#1 @ day 50: My best plant by far. She was root bound in her 3 gal container. I hope she like a 12 gallon organic home. Finally starting to fill out. Looks like she will have 2 main colas!

SB#2 @ day 31: Ehhh I F'd up with this one today. After raining for 5 days straight, she wilted when Houston hit 95 F today, the soil dried up real quick in this heat. To top it off, she was severely root bound...then I got over zealous and over-watered her....yeahhhhhhhh, oops. I'm sure she'll bounce back though.

Should I be worried about this mutated leaf?

Kilimanjaro @ day 14: Now on this one, I dropped the ball big time. I started her in a tiny ass 4 ounce cup. I under estimated how quickly roots develop in the seedling stage. She was extremely root bound, pretty much stopped growing and started turning pale. I could water her in the morning and she would wilt by 2-3pm...Now this little African Diva is in a 12 gal container full of organic goodies, hopefully she recovers and takes off! She better...I love 100% Sativas!

And here is a final shot of all my hoes...errrr... I mean ladies after all the transplanting. :)

As always, thanks for looking! Lmk what y'all think!
