Hey everyone,
I came here knowing there are lots of grow veterans and even some growing novices capable of helping me along my way. I worked for a caregiver for about 4 months recently and found pretty quickly kneeling before green beauties that this is what I want to do. Not knowing a damn thing about nutrients I am carbon copying his set-up :/ I'd like to know what you guys think about them and when to introduce. I'll be starting my grow with 2 5 packs of TGA subcool Cheesquake and Deep Purple. These strains seemed like a great place to start and his genetics are the only ones i have experience with.Ace of Spades and Vortex pulled 6.5-8 ounces in front of my eyes along with Agent Orange, Third Dimension, and a couple others I can't recall of the top. Basically, I cannot deny those results. I also have 4 jillybean clones and 2 un-named at the moments (cut came from someone who is out of contact at the time being. May not be TGA ) I'm sure to get more of his genetics in the future when my first crop rolls in, pheno-selecting his seed packs looks pricy. HOPE I GET A GOOD MOTHER!!!! cross those fingers.
I'm using Future Harvest Development's Holland Secret nutrient line I included the chart with the pics. I forgot to pick up a bottle of B+ which may be attributing to the slight problems I'm having. In the pics above one of the JillyBean clones is yellowing in the middle. I think this is do to me hitting it with week 1 veg nutes like an idiot. so, I've cut down to 1/4 of what is recommended for week 1 in the chart included. also my hardiest Deep Purple seed is yellowing on the edges, Think this is due to the early/hard nute'ing. I worked for a caregiver But, I worked with plants after topping everything before-hand I'm ignorant to. umm yeah there's a spider plant there for my experimentation for being new to this seedling/root building stage. I'm also using 1ml/gal of rapid start, 1/2 tsp/gal Oregonism (in place of GW shark,) 1ml/galPro-Tek (heard it makes stems hardy,) and 1ml/gal planticillin to top it all off. When do you suggest I stop using Pro-Tek/? My old employer had me write it on the bottle and I can't recall.. I believe week 2 of flower which is when you stop oregonism/great white shark as well? I also think you're supposed to stop using Rapid Start 2 week of veg. but that seems really soon to me and is probably longer. lots of half known variables here and want to grow dank, open to advice.
