First grow....whats up with this?

Hi all, this is my first grow,got 5 wonder woman seeds planted 6 days ago. They are under a 125w cfl with a gentle fan breeze at 77-79f . Plants have only been watered once since planting , but they have a yellow brown bit on the leaves and i was worried about it.I have been using bottled spring water only and they not close to the light i was wondering if anyone knew what could be up or if its nothing to worry about. cheers (sorry about thr crap pic.

sounds like ur soil is too hot
next time try something that doesnt have as much nutes in it
u need to flush it out

thanks for the replys, the temp never goes above 79 thats at top of plant. The bottled water i use has a ph of 6.2 , i think i might leave a jug of tap water out for 24 hrs and flush with that , 6.2 is a bit low right?? could this be the prob?

by hot soil i mean it has too much nutes in it and burning ur roots
whats the npk.....that soil is prob better for established plants,not seedlings
and 6.2 is fine,that isnt the prob

Hey thanks your spot on , just read that the soil is to strong for seedlings (of thier website) so i will flush them now. When i transplant to the 6.5l tubs i take it i should flush that out also before replanting them?? then they will be older and should be fine from then on yeah?

Once they are older, yeah they will be fine in that soil... You would probably be smart to flush the soil in the 6.5L tub before transplanting the plant into that container..

A ph of 6.4 is really good, depending on what the pH of your soil is.. If you really want to know what the pH is in your soil, test the run-off when you water them.. For soil, anything around 6-7 pH is good, preferabbly somewhere in the middle.. Anything above or below that, that's when you go problems..

Biggest thing is make sure you don't feed them any nutes w/ their waterings for now, especially with their being nutrients in the soil, and quite a bit of them at that... Let them get about 3 weeks old before you start feeding them anything...

Yep i wasnt going to use nutes until week 3/4 anyway,so hopefully should all be good now. Cheers guys
