This is my first grow with autos, today they are 5 weeks into flowering. The first pic is my Purple Ryder the other is northern lights. They have done great besides the poor drainage problem and over nuting I done to them. I would highly recommend them.

I'm almost three weeks in my first auto grow. So far I really like them. One is a NL x bb other is a gg auto. The NL x bb is a really nice plant so far, the gg somewhat topped itself. Its still growing just looked weird for a little bit.

Did you discover the northern lights don't like a lot of mutes?

Have you had any problems with nutrient burn? That has been my worse problem, I went organic.

Mine are in three gallons of ffof. No problems with nutrient burn so far. The nlxbb first true leaves start with the tip burn look somewhat. I kinda think its the NL genetics. I started a NL from nirvana a while back that looked exactly the same and it grew out of it. Did you mix your own soil?

No and I think that may be my problem. I bought the Virgoro Organic. What do you suggest when growing in soil?

I've only used fox farm ocean forest. I like it. Could use a some extra perlite and I add some dolomite lime, but has enough nutrients for 3-4 weeks. Possibly more for the autos since they are supposed to be lighter feeders. I've started in it with no problems, although I've read of it being a little hot sometimes for seedlings. I'm using coco for my photo plants.

No problem. I'm fairly new myself, but I try to help when I can. Very nice buds tho, doesn't look like bad nutrient burn. How tall did they end up after you topped? Just curious read opposing things about topping autos.

They look great! Mine are recovering now but lost a lot of leaves. It didn't get very tall when I topped it, maybe 11/2-2ft I'll send you a pic of the whole plant

Thanks. They have been doing most of the work, I just adjust ph a little and try not to over water lol.
