First Grow with Bagseeds. How am I doing?

I planted these about two months ago after germinating them and just throwing them in a pot to see what happened or how well it would work. I haven't really been following too strict guidelines other than watering them with the appropriate water and giving them plenty of sunlight.

I believe the taller one on the left is some strain of purp, and the smaller plant on the right is kush. Strangely, the Kush was actually planted a few weeks before the Purp, so I'm wondering if you guys could give me some input on how each plant is progressing.

There have been a few holes appearing in the leaves of the Purp, probably due to bugs, and the stem is cracking a little bit towards the bottom.

I've yet to conclusively determine the sex of either plant, and the only other distinguishing feature I can think of is that the Purp definitely gives off a potent Weed smell, while the Kush hasn't really produced any scent.

And the foil -- not my idea, but I guess I'll try it out until I see whether it is positively/negatively affecting the plants.

take down that noticable tin foil,and search up natural fertilizers on google.com or on here i guess, and what kinda soil you using it must be easliy absorbant to water, but easily drainable

Here's a few new pics that I took today. I took some to the point where I hope some of you guys may be able to identify whether they are male or female as well, if possible.








That last one was mids I don't really care about, but the bigger plant is definitely taking off. I'm thinking about inducing budding soon so they don't get too noticeable. Is that a good idea at least for the bigger plant?

I may just end up posting these in the Grow Journals section, but I've started budding them on a 12/12 schedule.

12 Hours outside, and 12 hours in a blanket/old kitchen cabinet concoction. I'm running this from 8 am to 8 pm.

It's been 2 days since I first started the cycle, and so far there's not too many noticeable changes in the plant.

Any feedback would be great. When would I start to actually notice flowering?

you might want to cut some leaves off that one cuz its not gonna let the bud grow down the stalk you know you need light to hit the stalk for bigger buds

real nice and healthy looking plants. you might be able to tell sex now. from looking at your very last picture, I think I see a female preflower.

So, I think I may have a hermie in the smaller (Kush) plant. What do you guys think? There are definitely noticeable female buds forming, but those two "balls" don't look very promising.




The larger (Purp) plant seems to be progressing really well with buds forming just about everywhere near the top, and some towards the bottom. However, I've noticed a lot of the leaves that come off of the first and second nodes are starting to die or turn yellow. What can I do to cure this?
