Bull dogs are cool. I adopted a dog from a rescue shelter a few months ago. Turned out to be one of the best dogs we ever had...bongsmilie

Thanks guys!! i was begining to think i was on my all on my own!! lol

Wish i had read the last post before feeding my girls as the idea of tipping a bit of the water into a glas/cup then mixing the molasses would have been much easier than trying to spoon feed it into 2 ltr bottles and then trying to mix it!!! Live and learn as they say!!..... But will do it next time!!!

Ok.... so i gave the girls their 2ltrs of water with a tablespoon or just under of molasses(which really STINKS by the way!!) letting the water drain throught the bottom as norm!!(cultivated soil first with fork)

I also decided after discussing with some peeps that the girl that i nearly killed ages ago(yet is still thriving!!!) to remove some lower leaves and 1 to 2 real small budding sites just to see what the result will be!!!! Want to see if growth is pushed up to the top budding sites etc!!!( think you will know what i mean)

Temp and hum have both been good!!! 25,c and 50% average!! and im still rotating pots etc so they get nice amounts of light all round!!!

Dayzt! any info is good info to me mate!!! so let me have what you got on flushing mate!!! cheers!!!!

End of week 3 is on the 21/10/09 i think?!?! which is when i will put some more pics up!!

Hope all is well with everyone!!! Take Care!!!
Hey Baggs... nice selection of Barney's seeds you have planned. The Red Diesel has quite a long flowering period which can be an high as 75 days... that sounds like it will take some patience! The Red Dragon I have is like that too i've heard. It's slow flowering and takes it's time.

As for flushing, I've heard that you should give it enough (straight) water until it starts to run through the bottom, then water it the same amount again so it's really flowing through - then leave them until you see them dropping a good amount and then just give them enough (straight) water to keep from looking droopy (not much) for the rest of your flush time. Pretty much you need to decided when you have only 10 days or so left before harvest, then flush good and keep them just looking perky. The idea is to try not to have too much moisture in the plant when you chop.

Cheers everyone!!!

Mister Munch is he's name!! and uk we are!!

Dayzt! cheers for the info mate, its pretty much what i was going to do.... will give all plants just 2 ltrs of water( no molasses) which always gives a good run off on all pots!!! for the last 10-14 days of flower which should be about the 13/11/09 till 25-26/11

All plants look good with a couple having quite reddish fan leave stems! dont think this is a problem but if someone knows that it is then plz let me know!!!
Still tucking leaves and unshading budding sites as much as pos without ripping off bits or tying them down!! They are starting to develop nicley at the mo with plenty of pistils on show and now im seeing lots of trichs coming through!! Getting excited now big time!!!!!! Still got 6 weeks roughly left and i hope that they are gonna really beefy up as long as i dont go and have 1 of my IDIOT moments!!! lol

May put a couple of pics up in a mo, nothing special but will do a full round up with pics at the end of week 3(21/10)

Dayzt once again you are a star!!!! the molasses thread was great info for me, just what i needed!!!

If i knew how to give +rep i would but i still aint figured that 1 out yet!! let me know someone plz!!!

Plants look good this morning when i checked them at first light, i have also moved them all again so they all get their fair share directly under the light. My temp has been at around 23.5'c with the lights on(20'c lights off) and hum is around the 48% mark!! The smell is starting to pick up now which is nice and also worring at the same time as i dont want it to get out of hand, the window in the room where my grow box is, stays fully open all day and i have my evaporating/ionising water cooler by the door(also on all day) throwing air out towards the window and away from the door which i was hoping would contain or clear the smell straight out the window!!! Going to have to keep a eye on it...or should i say..........Keep a nose on it!!!! lol

Finding it hard not to take new pics everyday and stick them on here but i think doing a kind of round up with pics and news etc at the end of each flowering week may be a bit more exciting to see?!?!

Thats it! plz comment if u have anything to say, good/bad its all good!!!!

Nice lookin girl there Bags!!! Those pistils look like little porcupines everywhere!

One thing with taking the pictures under that flowering light... try out the different flash settings on your camera until you find the one that gives you the clearest picture and still not too bright. Looks a lot better than before though! Just wait until they start to thicken up and swell from that molasses... I can already tell you're going to have some real nice ladies!!! :joint:

Thanks again peeps!!! Hope your all right and that they are bang on, they seem to be!!!

Gave them all 2 litres of water that contained 6/7 ml bloom food(up'd it a bit from before the flush) and also 1 tablespoon of molasses!!! But did notice that unlike before the pots were not as dry as they norm are!! They wasn't soaked or nothing but just a bit wetter than normal, im assuming that the plant dosen't use quite as much water mabe now its nearly in week 3 and uses more nutriants!!! does that sound right?????
I have been feeding on a schedule of every 3 days, which uptill now was fine but from now on i think i may just hold back untill i feel the pots to make sure their dry!!! Dont want to be over feeding them!!!

Took some nice pics with the new cam!!! but i am still trying to work it all out(macros etc) but some of the pics look really good, even took them out the box aswell and got some shots of each of my girls from a few different angles while i was feeding them this morning.

Also i took a few leaves that were a bit yellow etc off some of the plants from the bottom of the plant!

Just hope i can keep all my girls going the way they are!! ive had no real problems apart from human error( The Curse!! LOL) but i have been reading a lot of info from people on this site and especially about their fem seeds turning hermie halfway through flower etc. This has got me a little worried and im now at eagle eye status!!!! Checking them everyday especially when i pull them out to water!!! Nothing so far that i notice!!!(fingers crossed) Also making sure there is nothing to stress them!! Light is ok, Dark is ok, Not to hot(23'c), Not to humid(47%), of course will not overwater(from now anyway!!), Plenty of air movment!!
The only pos problem i can think of is......They are in 5 litre pots not 7.5 like i though i had!! There is lots of roots i can see through the drainage holes and they look real healthy(bright white) even to the point that some of the roots are dangling about 4" long out the bottom of the pots and they are still bright white!!!

Will do a full round up tom as its the end of week 3 with pics etc and of course lots of me babbling on!!!

How do i give +rep???!! Can someone let me know plz!!!

Till tom!!!

Stay Strong!!!

Yo Baggins... to give rep, just click the little picture of the weigh-scales on the top-right side of the user's post. It should take you to a screen to give rep and leave a note. Make sure you put your name on the note so they know who left the +rep! I'll leave you some rep now so you can see what it looks like. =)

As for your soil still being moist when you water... during flowering especially, I like to go more with how the plant is looking to determine when to water/feed. When you see the leaves starting to droop a little, then water. I've had my plants get fairly dry soil and still looking perky enough that I waited a few more days even before giving more water... sometimes it depends on the strain though too - some like more water than others, while some seem to prefer to be nice and dry for awhile before getting more... But it doesn't sound like your grow room is very hot, so it may take longer for the soil to dry out because of that factor too.

Thanks for the info Dayzt about the rep and my girls, ive decided to do excatly what you said and from now on will only give the plants water when i see them start dropping abit!!

Thanks Tru for the big up!!!! Knowledge is your biggest weapon!!!! ive just been doing loads of reading etc, but there is 1 thing i have that has really helped me and still does! that is a book called...... Marijuana Horticulture The Indoor/outdoor Medical Growers Bible by Jorge Cervantes!! The best thing ive bought!!!!

Ok here we go! Im going to give you a round up of where im at right at this very moment.......

End of week 3....
5 plants flowering(12/12) all looking real good!! still not sure excactly what i have!? i started with 5x fem Barneys Nightshade and 1x fem Barneys Blue Cheese but when i germinated the seeds i chucked them all together on the same moist bit of kitchen roll and lost track of which was the blue cheese!!
I have only lost 1 plant, which was at seedling stage due to no growth which takes the total down to 5 plants which i have flowering at the mo!! I was kinda hoping that i would be able to see a difference by now but all the plants seem to look the same, mabe it was the Blue cheese that stopped growing and all the Nightshade is going strong??!! anyway........

Ive been feeding all my girls on a 3 day basis mainly due to the fact thats when they started looking a bit droppy, i was feeding them 1 litre of water+3/4ml bloom food for the first 10-14 days of flower which was giving me a nice run off!! On the 14/10/09 i decided to up that amount to double( 5/6ml bloom+2ltr water) just to help the drainage! On the 17/10/09 i decided to give them a flush as the last time i flushed them was the 5/10/09 (5 days into flower) but this would be with a difference as i had finally got hold of the organic Molasses i had been looking for! so i did 2 litres of water+ 0.5/1 tablespoon of Molasses!
Then last feed which was yesterday(20/10/09) i changed my mind again and gave them 6/7ml bloom+ 1 tablespoon Molasses+ 2 litres of water all mixed together into a 2 litre bottle, shaken lots, chucked in to watering can and poured on plants!!! I did this mainly because i feel that im not quite giving them enough on the food side as i see a few lower leaves are pale and very slight yellowing occuring!!!
I have taken the odd dead leaf and very small budding site/growth off of some of the plants but not a lot, want them to just grow how they want to grow!!!

The smell is real nice at the mo and the pistils and trichs that are coming through look bloody great!!!

Im going to stick a load of pics up which ive taken over the past couple of weeks, i will try and keep the in order of date taken, so the earliest first down to the most recent!! Will prob have to send 2 pics at a time as for some reason it wont let me put more up than that!!!!

So here goes hope you enjoy the pics!! the latest ones are with a new camera i have just got( still playing with the settings but im well excited! the pics look 100x better already!!!)

Stay strong peeps!!!
