First Grow with Nirvana Auto fem Blue Mystic- pc grow 125 watt cfl

I actually have 2 bag seed plants waiting to show their sex as soon as the heat levels drop and their is a lesser amount of plant stress. I will upload pictures shortly. It just germinated today and is going to be moving to its pc case tomorrow. I experimented with the 2 plants i have now and am waiting for them to get past all the torture i put them through unintenionally, such as losing a whole leaf set to heat drying it out... the plant on the other side of the lightbulb is fine though. it will all make sense tomorrow when i upload the picture of the plants and the grow box. Wish me luck! Oh and the CFL is 2700k "full spectrum warm"

i dont have a temperature reading with the 125 watt cfl yet but it obviously is too high if it killed a whole leaf set

Losing a leaf to heat can be tough. I'm surprised though - heat isn't usually a problem with CFL unless you've got things really close. It would be great if you can post a pic or two. Let's see how you're doing! - bioW

cool i have an onlooker! I will upload a picture as soon as possible. my blue mytic auto already is showing 4 leaves. only third day since putting it in the soil.

i have a pc fan right next to the light which is sucking air past the bottom of the plant that had the heat issues.

this is the autoflowering blue mystic which hasnt seemed to have gotten bigger today. The plants and pc will have their pictures uploaded tomorrow sometime

here they are sorta. the one on the right is a male that i made a salad with haha. i was high and it was a troublesome thing to have.... anyway, the plant that suffered the most from the heat actually died and the soil was completely dried up. other container(party cup inside another party cup) still was somewhat moist at least compared to sunbaked looking soil of the one that died. I hope i answered enough to get some assistance from all of you guys. PS im baked a bunch from some pineapple express so i may have bad grammar. too high for pictures sorry i took them though

so last night when i checked the temperatures with my infrared thermometer it looked like it was the black plant container absorbing all the heat bc the soil was at one spot 90 degrees. i need to find a way to add some more humidity to my pc case. Any ideas?

Well... i somehow killed both plants in one day. I overwatered the plants just to be safe but they still dried out!!!! I am at a loss. What should i do! I can either do the whole grow with a total of 90 watts of cfl or figure out a way to safely use the 125 watt bulb i have installed. Is it the humidity? Too much airflow? soil temp was 80 degrees. other than that i dont know why the soil is dried up after one day. is it just really dry air?

Sounds like you missed a watering cycle. Shit happens. I have an auto-water system I purchased on Amazon that I use when I'm away a couple days.

i watered it every day though. I just put my auto blue mystic in the pc case after i made some major changes to the layout of the case. I have one output fan where the power supply would go. it is a 120mm fan that pushes a good amount of air. trying to keep it as a passive intake to reduce the amount of dry air passing through the case. I suspect that is what caused the rapid evaporation of all the water in the soil. Pictures tomorrow. Thanks for the help bioWheel! I thought more people would have commented. As for the auto watering mechanism, i might have to get myself one, assuming it can fit inside of a computer case.

You wind burned your last two dry...and the foil conducts heat, tape up thick white construction paper or ultra white flat paint...check 2 inches below top soil if its not moist give it a lil water, you wanna make the roots reach for the nutes

thanks for the info! I will post an updated picture for day 20 because from what i have heard, i should see the preflowers around that time(feminsed so it is probably female). I was wanting to get a crop of feminised seeds from either the blue mystic or the northern lights but i dont know if i want to because at the moment i have both plants together in the pc case. Not sure where i could put it unless i get around to modifying the pc server tower i got from a friend. Any suggestions for keeping the top of the plant unpollinated, assuming i move the northern lights to the server case. i dont know if i explained it clearly so let me know if anything needs clarification.

One more thing, i have decided to add a small amount of my nutes(fox farm grow big) to the waterings now. it is definitely not going to cause root burn bc i didnt want to stunt the growth so it was diluted. Anybody have any suggestions for an autoflower nutrient schedule?

She showed her pistles 2 days ago at day 19. She has is so big yet so short!!!! i need to lst it very soon. I will start the lst tomorrow if i think the plant is ready. What do you all think?

eman same stage as you few days ahead i havent done anything extra im on day 27 right where branches meet stem those flowers are coming out and showing the rivit designs you should see sex here in 15 days i should see any second. keep updating so I can see if im fucking up since were so identical right now lols!
