First Grow!

Hey everyone! So earlier this year I ordered some Auto Blue Dream seeds from MSNL. They came quite fast but also incredibly stealthily (the seeds were sewn into a hat)! I'm currently on day 75, so I just want to check in and see if everyone thinks I'm doing OK. I'm using a 105W CFL which I keep about 5 inches from the top of the plant. I used to keep it at 3, but some of the leaves were slightly burnt! All in all, it averages 18 hours of light a day. The height of the plant is at 26" and it's pretty much stopped gaining height, as expected. I honestly haven't been using any fancy soils/formulas. I'm from the midwestern US and our area has some great soil. That being said, it was slightly acidic for weed, so I've done things such as crumble some oyster shells I had laying around and add them to the soil. Please let me know what you think and if you have any questions. Thanks!

Looking great! Yes people get carried away with nutrients quite oftenly...especially with those P-K boosters. Aside from maybe adding more light (hard to have enough of), which will of course make them bigger like the auto's in my avatar's pic, I think you're doing pretty well!! Especially being your first grow, not to mention auto's which tend to be a bit more picky. Keep it up, they look happy'n'healthy! :)
P.S. Are you using a 2700k spectrum light, which is more red spectrum (better for flowering), or a light more on the blue side (often sold as 'daylight blue')? I think that spectrum is like 6400k, I'd have to check for an exact number.

My light is more of a blue.

If at all possible, look at getting your spectrum closer to the red/orange side :) it's not by any means needed, but it's sort of the go-to spectrum for flowering whereas the blue spectrum is more conducive to building foilage in the vegetative stage. Wow no kidding Jedi? I've always been very critical of blurple LEDs, but in a pinch they certianly get the job done and then some!
