I started by looking at the Bloombox and SuperCloset but decided to build my own after reading up. Not trying to drop 3-4 grand on a Bloombox and I figured I could build a better version of a SuperCloset Deluxe 3.0 (heard odor control was an issue and I want to go LED…and not the one they offer). I put a ridiculous amount of time into researching all of this and planning the build so I feel like I'm pretty set on the general setup....I just have some questions regarding some of the details. Please feel free to throw out any suggestions and I'll post pics as as I move along through this whole process. The number one goal here is stealth...as little noise as possible and no odor. I’d rather spend more money and have it not be noticeable.

Attached are some links to rough sketches. Sorry, but I couldn't figure out how to embed them with the
tags.

I’ll follow up with a detailed list of all of the components I plan on using.

Cabinet
Sandusky Cabinet - $329

Getting the one with the digital lock for security purposes. Was going to go with black for stealth purposes but I just noticed they have an “Anti-Micobial White” option so I was thinking about that. I was going to build and give it a test run without any sound insulation (FatMat) and was thinking that I could get away without having to paint it or line it in reflective material if I got the white. I know the BCNL Bloombox is just the white metal.

Lights
LED Light (Pro-Grow 400) - $559

2’ T5 Light Fixture (2 or 4 bulbs) - $50

LED for the flowering chamber and T5s for the cloning/veg chamber. I want to go with LED for a variety of reasons. No need for a separate ballast (one less plug and one less thing to put in the cab), no need for an additional fan (one less plug/less noise), no heat imprint, lower cost to run it.

Hydroponics
SuperPonics 16 Hydroponic System – 22″w x 28″l x 12″h - $250

SuperCloner 50 Plant System -22″w x 28″l x 6″h - $200

Again…I’m a noob but from what I’ve read thus far I like Superponics setup and that they fit 16 net cups into the tub. My only concern is the 2” net cups. I’d like to go with the 7” high tubs for both veg and flowering chambers but I’m concerned 6” won’t allow enough for adequate root growth on the flowering side. If it’s not an issue I feel like the extra 5” would be worth it. I was also going to ask if they could customize it and only put 12 3” net cups as opposed to 16 2” net cups but I’m not sure if they do this.

The other option I was thinking of was these…

Ventilations/Filtration
What’s the difference between Class one and Class II installation?

Soler & Palua TD-100 (Clone/Veg Exhaut) - $75

Solar & Palua TD-100x (Flower Exhaust) - $90

Two (2) 4” x 8” Phresh Filters – $80/each

Dark Room Vents
  • Will use as passive intakes. Still trying to determine what is necessary. I want slightly negative pressure in the cab so that air is always pulling into the cabinet and there is no chance of odor leaking. I am going to place them in the back side of the cabinet and would like to use as few as possible but at least one in the flowering chamber and one in the cloning/veg chamber. I’ve read that you need at least three to four Midget Louver intakes per 4” exhaust so I’d like to go with the square/rectangular louver vents if possible. For some reason I’ve always had in my head that you need twice as much intake as you do exhaust which would mean two intakes per exhaust hole. If I am running two 4 inch exhausts (one for each chamber) would two 8” x 8” louver vents work (one for each chamber)? If not would I be better off going with two 12” x 12” louver vents or four 8” x 8” louver vents (two of them side by side in each chamber)?
  • Either multiple 4” Midget Louver (Circular) or 8” x 8” Louver (Square)
